Black Lives Matter is a state-backed religion

Among the reasons why this still-amorphous ‘movement’ became so widely popular with such break-neck speed is perhaps because in the eyes of many, it transcended mere politics. Many so-called protests took on features highly reminiscent of religion: collective worship, public confession and requests for salvation, devotional poses and gestures, group prayer, the creation of a new pantheon of martyr figures to revere, and the adoption of liturgical rites and rituals.

I have been noticing that the BLM movement has so many aspect that seem similar to a cult. It really started creeping me out how much some of the rituals reminded me of things from catholic mass of my childhood and other religious services and cult behaviors that I have observed. It all seems so ritualistic from the veneration of floyd as some sort of saint martyr. Strange ritualistic kneeling and lying down in the position George Floyd was in. Also guilt and original sin has been replaced by guilt for original sin of white privilege. Honestly I find the comparisons highly disturbing and it seems evident that BLM almost seems like a cult like religion.

I linked the above article because the author expresses these observations much better then I can in a few paragraphs but so much that they say I have was already aware of in my own observation of the BLM movement.

I just got done watching Tim Pool's video where he describes to a T how this new Church of Woke is a non theistic religion! This new religion isn't about color. It is the rise of the Bolsheviks/Redguard reborn. Saw a thing the other day that only 1 of 6 BLM people are actually black!

Actually, it pretty much just appeals to stupid people. Which kinda is the same place in the brain that religion appeals to. But at least religion kind of makes sense in a way because the idea of death being the absolute end of the individual and their mind and existence is really scary (and the older and closer to death you get, the more profoundly you are affected when you really think about it). The BLM thing? Just a brainless wedge issue.

When stupid people get angry or scared, you can pretty much sell them any message as long as you customize what you're selling to satisfy whichever parts of their brains are inflamed by that anger or fear.

Does anyone think the qanon thing is a counter to BLM stuff?
I've been going deep in qanon and while highly entertaining I get these fits of inspiration from it for just being a patriot. All of this is certainly crazy. But I think a no internet weekend is in order for this guy.

Plenty have been warning about it for years and years. The election of Trump kinda unmasked what had been building for at least a decade or two.

Importantly, BLM (or any of the more recent groups) are just the latest in a long line of more and more fervent, zealous social behavior.

I think the most important aspect is that there are no actual tenets. It is strictly behavioral adherence to The Monolith that matters. To the outside, this presents as hypocrisy in many cases, but there isnt any self-awareness of it.

Its my opinion that it is the foundation for the borderless, global "nation" that the technofascists intend to use to subjugate the world. Or, at least as much of it as they can..

I first heard of Young Pharoah from your post in that "other" thread that vanished. That guy never sleeps - his videos are constantly being pulled down for "hate speech"(?). Amazing amount of info there, and like he says anyone could find it if they just look.

I really like this gentleman's short clip - it's good to know that there are regular people out there that see the big picture.

More like a cult!

We might want to look at the "positive" aspects of these protests. As a White person here's what I see them getting from it:

1) Work off frustration of lock down. After months of that people were dying to get out and do something, anything.
2) Assuaging White guilt. I know some may laugh at the very concept but some White people take it very seriously, as if their actions now could change anything about the past. They have been taught to hate the US, the history of colonization and exploitation. Admittedly it wasn't our finest moment by a longshot but nothing unusual for the times historically.
3) Giving them a sense of meaning or greater purpose. A universal human aspiration- it fills the void.
4) There are some who view minorities as incapable on their own and mentally regard them as "children" needing help from their White, college-educated "allies". Intellectual "parenting" for the childless.
5) Related to #4 but an opportunity to display their "wokeness", commonly known as false pride and ego.

Regardless of race this an opportunity for socialists, communists and anarchists to tear down the system they reject. it's also an easy way to vent their anger without repercussion. I'm sure people can list plenty more but these protests do fill a void both religiously, politically and personally.
