Don’t believe for a second this was a wHiTe sUPpRemCiSt

I don’t understand why nascar would want this on their image at this point in time

All signs point to hoax

It’s getting pathetic

I am.in that court of opinion...from the OP article:

A source with Richard Petty Motorsports told CNN that Wallace never saw the noose. A member of his team discovered it and immediately brought it to NASCAR's attention, the source said.

I hope I need not place emphasis...

Read the rest of the article....

I wonder if the surveillance cameras were broken, like with Jeffery Epstein. Everyone knows you only turn on surveillance cameras part of the time. It's not like they can record 24/7 in a loop for days on end. derp

Depends on how much storage space you have to store the footage. Also depends on if you’ve got motion activated cameras. IE- more movement = more footage. The cameras on my property run 24/7, but all but a couple are motion censored. On average we have 5 days worth of footage and we’re using fairly cheap DVR’s. Also depends on the quality of footage you’re recording.

The other drivers pushed him to the front to start, I figured they would let him win.

They just pushed his car to the head of pit road before they started engines. Once the race started, he's been an also-ran, like he usually is.

But again, it's Talladega. It's not outside the realm of possibility that he could win here. I'm not even gonna attempt to explain why that is to non-race fans, but just about anyone can win Talladega and Daytona.

Dress up like a member of his pit team.
Wait until no one is looking.
Hang pre-made noose.
Walk out like you just won the lottery. Don't tell anyone.

Sounds like something that CNN would do to get their ratings out of the toilet.

I've heard those areas have very tight security.

You've "heard?" Well, I was the pilot for a Cup team for10 years and I've seen what passes for security in the garage areas. It varied a lot from track to track. Charlotte was the tightest. Security at Talledega, Darlington and Bristol was non-existent. Anyone can writea check, join Nascar, and get creds. Haulers are not searched when entering. If you have a pass noone really knows who all is in the garage area. The occupants of cars are not checked. If the car has a sticker, they wave you in. The garages at most tracks are open with no secure doors. It would not take the Mission Impossible team to sneak something into a team's garage area. It was a fun 10 years but it was tiring being goe 40 weekends a year.

The 2, the 12, and the 22 have been the fastest cars all day. If they get together they'll be hard to beat.

Looking back I realize what I guess I felt 19 years ago... NASCAR really did die to me when Dale died. It just took a couple of decades for me to accept that fact.

It was still pretty good for a few years after that. Around 2004 was when it was like they set out to see how bad they could destroy the sport.

3 government agencies are tenants on the property I oversee. We’re told we need to be escorted at all times when doing work in their suites. You WANT these agencies to be secure with what they do (more for financial reasons than anything) but I can’t tell you how many times they’ve opened a door for myself or my staff and went back to their desk.

The DEA is a former tenant. For the first 3 months I started there, they’d cover the dry erase boards and escort me everywhere. After that they didn’t care. I saw where sting operations were being staged, what they were looking for and who they were targeting. I heard surveillance tapes regularly (until I told them I could clearly hear them through the wall and then was tasked with soundproofing that area) and saw plenty of reports sitting on desks and I’m quite sure it wasn’t large bags of flour inside those duffle bags near their desks in rooms I was left unattended.

If the federal government cares about security that much, I can imagine what it’s like a race track. Then again, it’s the federal government, so I also wouldn’t be surprised to find that security is much better at a race track.

And vetting? HA. There’s zero vetting. Granted, I had to pass a thorough background check to get the job, that’s just my company not wanting to hire a felon. The tenants have zero clue about my history. At most, we had someone visit on behalf of one of them and to collect some information and some of that information was my full name, DOB, personal phone number and home address. I had already been in that tenant’s suite dozens of times.

Ugh, Wallace is gonna be the new Danica Patrick. Pulled for them at first, until the media decides to shove them down our throats at a disproportionate amount relative to their talent/accomplishments. Then they just wind up being hated by most of the fanbase because we're sick of hearing about them.

Sadly, I sincerely doubt he was interested in the facts you just posted.

The hypocrisy is astounding too. When Pelosi and her goons used a symbol that has ties to slavery, the historical context suddenly matters.

The animosity toward the confederate flag is based on nothing but spite for most people. It's not based in history, facts, or logic.

There is an element of Yankee supremacy at play as well.

Yeah I wouldn't set the standard by what the government does lol having worked for the government, it is incompetent at just about everything. That's why "let the government do it" should be the last resort to everything.
