Yes. I'm definitely interested in this. I could definitely do $100.00. Possibly $200.00. The site could be advertised on Brave browser, and I would definitely donate my BAT to the site.

Yes, though no more than 2) or 3) if we're talking non-voting stock.

Maybe, but what is the plan.. short term, business, goal medium term and long term.

More power to you guys that can drop 5 figures without any proposals.

We need a lawyer and a proposal written up, and also we need to know what the owners want and start negotiations. Buying stock into ats is just that BUYING STOCK.

Yes: $500 annually

May be willing to go to $1000- or even more, as the world gets censored.

I understand in this current world, information is no longer free. ATS is one place where I would pay for both the community and the information.

I pay $10,000 annually for a business membership (I don't even like most of those people), $1200 for LinkedIn, I also have other memberships, so $1000- annually really isn't much for access to open discourse.

I honestly value this place more than most of my other memberships.

Why can't Ownership just put a "Donation Counter" in the top corner, showing Current Donations, Required Donations, and Length of Runway. It sounds like, just with the people in this thread, we would all be willing to Donate the required amount, and keep the site funded well into the future.

I know if I saw a "number" in the top corner, I would do my bit.

Also, if they set up this simple feature, it may make it easier to sell anyway (an additional revenue stream is attractive to investors), if they would like an exit.

ETA:
I do like the idea of official annual membership, and an AGM (Annual General Meeting), held virtually so international members can participate, for top level members to have a voice in the sites direction.

I love the sentiment of this thread. I hope a solution is found soon. This topic is becoming more popular than COVID19 on ATS. Financially, I can do nothing but offer a possible $10/month subscription fee..

But let's really address this question. It's a serious one and needs to STOP being ignored.

Does ATS ownership really want a solution to this, no matter how awesome they may be?

I don't believe they care anymore. SO created a thread and hasn't responded with ONE positive answer. Just ( no, that won't work cause x y and z)

Let's get some more ACTUAL enthusiasm and REAL serious responses before we entertain threads like this.

I'm VERY disappointed with ATS ownership at this point. They just DONT care, and we can't force them to.

After more thought, I’m in for more than the initial $1,000 I pledged. Depending on obvious factors.

The thought already occurred to me about lawyers. Do we have any resident lawyers here? Particularly an experienced corporate lawyer.

I’m putting NO stipulations like others, with the mud pit.

We ARE seeing free speech die. If this site goes the way of the dodo — we are all FU##ED!

If you care about life, Family, your community, here on this planet — then you care about your legacy.

If my only legacy is spending my hard earned cash, on the last bastion of free speech in this Fu##ed up world we live in — than so be it!

Put my name in history, as one of MANY who fought this blatant BS globalist tyranny goddamnit!!!

Put me down for 500 quatloos

I don't think I can justify $1,000.

Yes, $1000

This website has molded my thinking about everything that resides on the fringe. The content here has inspired me to create posts and topics all the way back to 2003. This is a valuable website that I almost visit daily. By the way, I never turned on the ad blocker knowing full well it supports the site financially.

Yes, $1000.

I would want to do $1000 to start. And would be interested in increasing that as well.

Yes- $2,500-5000

HOWEVER; I would do this with the understanding that the site 10 years ago was evolving to a diversified format, branching out into different media and embracing new technology. Specifically, I would like to be involved with the development of a podcast family (as talent or production), and by creating content for streaming (those platforms are STARVING for content).

As I mentioned in the other thread (and was ignored
), in my ten year absence I was nominated for a Pulitzer (newspaper), and was a finalist for a Peabody (category; terrestrial radio station, less than ten employees) as a member of a team. It is a passion for me, and I have a high level of interest in producing original content. Of course, this site has a rather large archive from which to work.

TAG, you’re it!

ETA- I’m not a braggart, I was qualifying a statement. And will GLADLY proves my claim to a mod.

Late to the party as always, but I'd be in for 1k. As long as current ownership and moderators stay the same.

I’ll commit to $100 for now. But could possibly do more if the need is there.

The concept proposes a current ownership /member ownership partnership.
It raises $1M for tech, branding & marketing efforts.
It also establishes a specific value to existing site ownership.

JOINT ownership is win/win for current and new member owners...as existing expertise will meet a new influx of developmental funding.

At some point in the future...original owners could still opt to make their own %60 - %51 shares of ATS available for sale to membership, allowing themselves to be completely bought out AFTER changes have made the site under this new partnership viable.
