Just went and read it. Sad news.

There are a couple members, that I had gotten close to, and actually spoke to on the phone and such, that we have lost, that I still miss very much. And some that have just "disappeared".

It's been a very enlightening journey here, and I really hope something happens to keep it running.

Feels like the day after you woke up from your coma after your HS graduation party when you realized that HS was actually over, and you might not ever see any of those people again.

(The fact you were completely naked and spread eagle on somebody's living room floor whom you didn't even know, with UnderRoo's tied over your head and holes cut out for your eyes, empty whiskey bottle in one hand and a bent 5-iron in the other, didn't really even matter anymore).

ATS is a very special place...made up of truly unique and gifted people.

Yeah, the last time I felt like this was when my old MMO shut down. It was a fairly crystallized community. A lot of regulars. We had our squabbles, but in the end, we all got along more like siblings than anything even though we didn't know each other.

This feels kind of like that.

It was sort of empty for a long time after that. I'd gotten to the point where I wasn't there to play as much as I was to just chat and hang out.

The last time I felt like this is when my bitch ex wife absconded my kids two states away from me. (Okay, that felt a hell of a lot worse)

To shack up and milk off a dude that had 5 DWI’s.

20k later and The judge lets my kids stay with him.

Shutting down my biz due to the corona hoax, didn’t bother me as much as this.

Even though I only started posting bout 3 years ago, I feel like I know and appreciate many of you. 🍻

This is so strangely specific that I feel like I only just got to know you...after all these years.

I have learned so much from this site, and it is basically my world news source that I trust.

I am so grateful for learning about Missing 411, as I have gone missing, and still want to know why. I have a lot more research to do on this subject.

I love the scientific information, the paranormal threads, and the humor here is awesome.

I really hope it can be salvaged.

I regret missing the Boston meetup (damn Covid).

I know I’ve most likely conversed with some of you on a site I visited 13 years ago (not allowed to name - I love you sixes, and the I Love Pizza guy 😉

This site is filled with some amazing people, and I don’t want my journey here to end 😢

Wasn't that TrueAmerican who had the seismos and was monitoring them? They had a YouTube live site I thought. Occasionally, he would drop in and Jaded & Cynical was keeping touch with that group I thought.

I know i havent Always been the nicest person around here , nevertheless i Always respected everyone here.

For me ATS was the only place on the internet where i felt at home.

I had a fantastic time here , with all you wonderfull people.

Thank you for everything.

I have been an asshole due to politics, but in my defense, I was always and asshole, I just hid it better before politics.

This site has helped my evolve as a human by making me try to understand some idiotic lunatic points of view. I still don't get it, but having tried, I think makes me a better person. I am still convinced I'm always correct.

But for anyone in my area, come see me. I'll always have a cold beer for a fellow ATS'er. I think I got Augustus to pay when we met, but the sun don't shine on one dogs ass forever.
