I'm not worried. I have been working this whole time, seen the changes day to day. I am armed and have plenty of supplies and ready to bug out at a moments notice. I never once felt powerless or afraid.

It's going to change , people will wake up and realize how vulnerable they are.

So here's the kicker for this whole issue. Does anyone have any live streaming links for the people to watch and see if more or less cops on the street will change anything? Is anyone on the ground able to reports about the situation from a first hand account?

It doesn't matter if the Police are calling in ill, walking off the job, or just flat out refusing to do their jobs due to a failure of the local government to stand by them. What matters is the safety of the people in those areas being affected by all this. This safety is the responsibility of every elected official, and every civil servant that works for the city and county. Attacking one of these groups by another group does nothing for the general population for either safety or security needed to keep society running smoothly. Allowing one a break down in this public trust also have the great issue of pushing people to having to overzealously protect themselves and their communities. Again break that public trust and you breakdown society.

Let's hope that the people of Atlanta don't flip out and go full on tribal mentality over night, and that the mayor and others get their heads out of their... well you know where. If this goes bad, and the "protestors" try and exploit this limited police force, it has the sad possibility of getting out of hand very fast, and could be vary violent and bloody very quickly. That's the point where Martial Law is no longer discussed, but instead is demanded to deal with ineffective leadership in the city.

This shows how much you can depend on the state when there's a need for it and yet another strong reason for the support of the 2nd Amendment. Just the thought that people are armed is a big deterrent to lawless gangs. I don't own any guns myself, but for anyone who has, hold on tight to your arms, they might be needed!
