Mr. President, take care of business.

What does that mean to you ?

The business for the President is to ultimately keep America safe.
If you do not understand that, then I really have no other answer for you, and wonder why you would question it.

I think Trump should let the cards fall where they may. I think he should tell the voters in Washington to decide their fate. If they are happy with the current situation than they can vote in more of the same If they are unhappy than they should vote for change.

This is so easy for Trump. All he has to do is constantly remind voters that he is offering help. But that he can’t help unless he is asked to help.

I believe these idiots are hoping he will use the insurrection act and that the military will use force and hurt people. I believe they are hoping for more victims to sway the public vote away from Trump.

I think if Trump says he will only help if asked but may chose a tougher course after the election he puts all the pressure on the left and comes out on the right side no matter what happens.

Oh ,I'm sorry I thought as much but apparently the governors of individual states yield more power than the president.

So the president is nothing more than a trophy that appears to be more than he actually is.

That , in a nutshell, is negotiating with terrorists. We do not do that, and starting now would be a grave mistake.

Why do anything at all?
They’re not terrorists, they’re revolutionaries. They’ve got this.

Did you guys not see the pictures of the ‘communal garden’? They’ll be fine.

This is an ultra competent group of people we’re talking about. We should simply recognise them as an autonomous government.

So a bit like lego-revisionists?

For those who can view their 30 demands : johnbwellsnews.com... t-includes-reparations-and-ending-police-dept/
Just a few of their demands

The Seattle Police Department and attached court system are beyond reform. We do not request reform, we demand abolition.

In the transitionary period between now and the dismantlement of the Seattle Police Department, we demand that the use of armed force be banned entirely. No guns, no batons, no riot shields, no chemical weapons, especially against those exercising their First Amendment right as Americans to protest.

We demand decriminalization of the acts of protest, and amnesty for protestors generally, but specifically those involved in what has been termed “The George Floyd Rebellion” against the terrorist cell that previously occupied this area known as the Seattle Police Department. This includes the immediate release of all protestors currently being held in prison after the arrests made at 11th and Pine on Sunday night and early Saturday morning June 7th and 8th, and any other protesters arrested in the past two weeks of the uprising, the name Evan Hreha in particular comes to mind who filmed Seattle police macing a young girl and is now in jail.
We demand that the City of Seattle and the State Government release any prisoner currently serving time for a marijuana-related offense and expunge the related conviction.

We demand free college for the people of the state of Washington, due to the overwhelming effect that education has on economic success, and the correlated overwhelming impact of poverty on people of color, as a form of reparations for the treatment of Black people in this state and country.

It strikes me as odd when conspiracy theorists side with a government that is violent, fascistic, untruthful and corrupt. Before whataboutisms, let me be clear that both parties are guilty and corrupt.

A bunch of kids (even if some are imported by foreign governments) have set up a zone where there's no organized arm of control and the old weirdos freak out and insinuate they should be shot as an example? What are you doing on a famous conspiracy site, then?

Is love of country now tied to rule by force? Remember way back when the citizens of the U.S. hated government for the eons of repression and murder they had committed throughout that thing called history? We tell ourselves we govern ourselves, but then some of us wish for rule by jackboot?

Priceless.

And exactly how is the president to act if the state doesn’t ask for military intervention?

That leaves the FBI? They don’t exactly have a great reputation at this time.

Ok. Demand the welfare check with a substantial FBI escort. Put your ducks in a row. Use the rule of law. Once all other solutions have been explored, still use minimal force.

You got to take in account politicians and civilians in that state hope this is the revolution that leads to only one legal political party in the USA. This is a great opportunity to show who truly has no desire for individual/property rights.

What’s worse than a crappy two party system? A one party system.

Been thinking that myself.

Questioning the government turned in to licking boots pretty quickly around here, as long as it can be turned into political points.

For starters revoke all of their citizenship they should not be required to participate in a country whose ideals they do not agree with. Second, call their parents and let them know their child is no longer a citizen and is now an illegal immigrant and any actions to assist an illegal immigrant is illegal. Third, call in the army because our nation has been invaded by an outside entity with folks that are not members of our society. Make sure it's brutal where every one of them (even their families) pay a very high price like it was done during the civil war.

Cut the power off. When they can no longer charge their cellphones, they will go back to their mommy’s basement for some soy something or another.

This hasn’t been a conspiracy site in a while. This is now a right wing authoritarian site. Just a bunch of people wishing for big government to crush people they disagree with.

Just look at the comments on this thread. People are actually wanting the government to kill its citizens because they don’t agree with their politics. You want a conspiracy? How about the conspiracy subculture in the U.S. being high jacked and turned into government authoritarians.

Nah, I’m sure that doesn’t have anything to do with the government.

The best thing Trump can do in this situation is nothing, in my opinion. If he were to send in the NG without permission he would face even more backlash than he is currently. Serious backlash. Regardless of his blustering on camera, I think he knows this and isn't actually planning on doing so unless the mayor and governor flat-out refuse to take action.

The residents and business owners that are trapped in this area have only one choice - take the occupiers down themselves. We've seen so many businesses destroyed in the past two weeks or so by rioters that should have been stopped by any means necessary, and the same in past riots. The constitutional rights we have do not say it's ok to be a criminal. While we do have the right to a fair and speedy (right) trial, stopping someone from destroying a business or killing a person is in fact protecting the victim's rights. Case in point - the rioters that set the house on fire with a child inside, then blocking fire trucks from getting there, I think any court in the land would side for the owner if he had shot the arsonist(s) while they were torching his house.

When did we become such a weak society? I'm glad my grandfather isn't alive to see this. He was in Okinawa in WW2 and received a Purple Heart from combat. He was a gentle giant who would take no guff from anyone and would not have tolerated this garbage. Taking his lead, if I had to face the Seattle situation as a home or business owner I would have no qualms about confronting that person or persons and defending my home and family. Any of you that say you wouldn't are either lying or are weaker than the Antifa idiots. When I was younger I probably wouldn't have felt this way but today I don't fear the consequences IF my actions were legal and justified. I just hope I never have to. After nearly dying twice in the last four years from health issues I don't fear any man anymore. My own body will take me out someday but no criminal is going to if I can help it.

I really hate how this whole situation has angered me. I don't like being angry. People suck.

Some folks really need to get out more ...

With COVID-19 restrictions lifting, more bars, restaurants, and stores will be interested in opening and it’s not clear how the camp will fit in with the entertainment district’s commercial aims. On Friday with the general strike planned, those kinds of conflicts will be put aside. Businesses in the area have been vocal supporters of the aims of the protests and many have opened the doors to support the crowds. But there are signs things are shifting to a new phase. Sorting out Saturday and what comes next will be the community’s challenge.

Thursday, Chief Best said she toured the East Precinct to assess damage and that planning has begun for SPD to return to the building. Response times, the chief said, are up about three times normal with East Precinct officers being dispatched out of other parts of the city. Mayor Durkan, meanwhile, repeated her belief that the movement’s central demand of a 50% cut to SPD is impossible. Without it, the activists, groups, and hangers on have said they will not leave.

Capitol Hill Seattle Blog

There are some significant problems in Seattle and elsewhere. What concerns me most is the level of planning that has gone into the "CHAZ" and of course, the reports of roving gangs. A lot of you are not going to like what Seattle does, but it's not your place to interfere in their local determination ... any more than it would be for them to come to your town.

The fact that some have gone full-metal police state here is just absurd.

That's where you are wrong as usual. No one wants anyone killed because they believe in a different political philosophy, kidnappers and terrorists don't deserve to breathe oxygen though. The US is not a communist state, there's no reason to tear down our Republic in order to establish a socialist/communist government. That is not what we're about and it's not going to happen. Mark my words on that.
