I'm sure it was nothing. Just a coincidence. I mean, they all look alike, right?

...someone had to say it...

Lmao.

Firstly, it's clearly not him. But I can understand you hicks thinking it is, because black guy.

Secondly, this is QCult logic again. Ask yourself WHY they would take such a risk when running the test?

Utter tools.

Actually it clearly is him, it's literally identical to some of the paintings done/used in the recent "protests"... however as was pointed out by some others, the tweet image is simply referencing the meta image url on the linked obama.org website -- which can be changed at anytime -- and was evidently changed since the Floyd incident came to pass, which also updated the picture on the tweet.

lots of BS. for someone trying to sound technical, your actual knowledge seems lacking.

twitter does in fact cache card images, here's an example url.

as for where it takes those from, i assume twitter:image metadata (present on obama.org website), cached at the time of posting. either that, or og:image (open graph), doesn't matter since both seem to point to the same url.

currently it points to this, the question is wether it was pointing to anything Floyd-related before the date of his murder. i've tried several web archive snapshots, to no avail - it was different than now, but nothing related to this case. but that's for the main page, the question is what's the exact url related to the thumbnail in question, then we can check that in web archive.

Yikes! Thanks for calling me out. Here I thought my 20+ years of programming might help offer a plausible explanation.

Since you sound really really technical, do you think they're using SHA-2 or 3 for hash digests on those caches you "assume" (another really really technical term) they're using?

keep it for 10 more years then you'll be in my ballpark, assuming i'll switch to full time arguing with idiots on the internet.

also, check any tweet with website url, preview image - being a copy of twitter:image as i've mentioned - gets loaded directly from twitter's servers.

now, wether that preview image can be changed afterwards directly on twitter by the poster or just by changing the metadata on the website and telling twitter to refresh, that's another story.

my point is, you've claimed twitter most likely embeds a reference to any visual content since hosting it directly would be "highly inefficient" - and that's simply not true. would you try using it for 5 minutes, you would realize how wrong you are, instead of spreading misinformation "because muh experience".

if you can't be bothered to check the html of the website in question, why bother posting at all? who cares what you think about how it works, when you didn't even care to check if you're completely wrong?

The preview of a pic can update well after the post, whether y’all know how that works or twitter or google wanna tell you that it works, ain’t relevant, it def works and they get to keep an edge on the internet over the rest of the Seo guys that would kill for easy updates to particular image previews so they never go outdated. Conspiracy but just not the one you thought.

It's not planned.

It's not Q.

It's not a set up.

SADLY this madness is real life.

(The image has been replaced at some point).

Create a conspiracy to make the conspiracy theorists go down the wrong rabbit hole. This was a load who ran afoul of a jerk psycho cop and died. It then became something they could use to push a divionist anarchist agenda leading up to a police state. Not planned, just convenient. Like the Covid virus. Very convenient. Maybe it was planned, maybe not. But it was used to implode the economy.

That is the origional pic.

OP posted proof for his claim.

YOU are arguing it was a template or something, and filled in later. YOU have to prove it.
I have already searched the entire internet, in every language, and the pic in OP is the only one there is.

Internet archive sites show websites and blogs/posts as they were on any given day. They can't be retroactively edited.

This happens to any old twitter that have a link to a site that has a picture, when the link in the site gets an update, the picture in the old twitter is updated as well, there is no mystery or anything. lmao
