Has anyone openly stated yet that this whole thing was set up by Obama to flame racial tensions and get Trump out of office? I mean, when Covid/Dem-plan #8352 to get Trump out of office didn't work this was the next step right?

I'm confused here because not being computer literate I assumed the link posted just showed the most updated visual on their site when the page refreshed due to some sort of coding.

So since I think most of us agree time travel is not a factor, is it being implied that Obama got to a known Republican(political affiliation was listed on the website with the 2nd home Florida address of the cop) picked out a victim, stalked said victim, had the shop owner call in a bogus report so Floyd could be killed on video to cause all this?

I mean uh...really?

Very interesting but I can comprehend how the source-image could possibly be changed and it has nothing to do with changing a Tweet card or whatever.

I HAVE worked for many companies creating, maintaining and modifying online content, data-stores and meta-data so I'll just say this.

Any visual medium that you encounter has a source. That Source is either a file or a field. If it's a file, it's just what the name implies. An image file. It has a name and it has attributes. Replace that file with another of the same name and voila....a different image.
Sure it's possible that each "tweet" embeds any visual content when it's sent but that would be HIGHLY inefficient. The storage requirements would be ludicrous for a platform the size of Twitter. It makes more sense to embed a reference (URL) to said content.

If the Source is a field, it exists in a database either as blob data (binary large object) or B64E (Base64 Encoded). Replacing the contents of that single field will reflect on any publications sent after said update.

Make sense?

as for where it takes those from, i assume twitter:image metadata (present on obama.org website), cached at the time of posting. either that, or og:image (open graph), doesn't matter since both seem to point to the same url.

currently it points to this, the question is wether it was pointing to anything Floyd-related before the date of his murder. i've tried several web archive snapshots, to no avail - it was different than now, but nothing related to this case. but that's for the main page, the question is what's the exact url related to the thumbnail in question, then we can check that in web archive.

ok, here's the snapshot of that tweet from 17th may. careful, i didn't manage to load that page - it shows the tweet, but it keeps loading and loading data without showing the thumbnail and i had to kill the page since it was eating several gigabytes of ram and would hang my pc. you have been warned.

Yikes! Thanks for calling me out. Here I thought my 20+ years of programming might help offer a plausible explanation.

Since you sound really really technical, do you think they're using SHA-2 or 3 for hash digests on those caches you "assume" (another really really technical term) they're using?

Although I totally agree with your reasoning regarding the image cache I’m perplexed as to why the hashing algorithm is relevant? Also wouldn’t the outputs be identical in length? I’m assuming you’d have to check certificates but again I don’t see your angle here.

seems likely the image link being used by twitter for blue check markobama points to an image that has been changed - people intentionally do this all the time to change the look of content previews on youtube etc to make it seem fresh or updated graphics, especially with ot button issues which barry is all over to make himself look more awesome. There is probably a file on his computer labeled "division and opportunity" with all kinds of stuff including faked gay tapes of OBL.

Or this is done by a 3 letter place to erode trust in anything - or an employee that wants the same for different reasons.
