White Supremacist group poses as Antifa

A white supremacist group linked to deadly right-wing violence in Charlottesville in 2017 used a fake Twitter account to pose as “Antifa” and incite violence during the current wave of protests against police brutality.
Twitter announced Monday that it had suspended the account, which claimed to belong to a national “Antifa” organization, and revealed that the account was created by Identity Evropa.

“Tonight’s the night, Comrades,” the message said, alongside a brown raised fist emoji. “Tonight we say '# The City' and we move into the residential areas... the white hoods.... and we take what's ours …”

It appears that the claim of white supremacists being involved in some riots are true. That certainly doesn't excuse people that follow the white supremacist agent provocateurs. Nor do i agree with trying to blame the violence on white supremacists. It does however add another level of poop to this sh!tshow.

Lots of groups seem interested in minipulating the protesters into violence. Hopefully some potential rioters read this news and decide against rioting after realizing they are being minipulated.

It's kind of a stretch to say sending a Tweet is "involved in some riots".

There are thousands of Twitter accounts "inciting violence". Many are celebrities and the left wing media.

Is Twitter shutting down those profiles too?

Yes. A number of these sorts of accounts have been identified and removed. As well as several from foreign actors looking to inflame the situation. But stick to the narrative: Protesters and Rioters are the same and they're all Democrats.

People who consider doing that are probably young, misguided, and full of emotion. They won't know how dumb they acted until years later when they see how much damage they caused their own community. Including black businesses.

I talked with one supposed rioter on Instagram. In his opinion, black people's concerns will never be listened to unless white people see the destruction not listening to them creates. Or something along those lines.

Granted, he may be a white supremacists troll.... so who knows.

I can't count how many times though that people from the left and have actually been tried and convicted of destroying property (among other things) that they try to make look like some right wing person did.

Naaw brah!! there is no blah blah blah.. howaboutism just stop! can you be certain that all the protesters are politically leftist??..maybe just maybe folks of usually opposite side of the political sphere are tried of these kinds of headlines, I'm gonna guess you're not a polls taking kinda guy but the report is 78% of Ppl polled, the U.S support the demonstrations what's more and 58% understand the violence that came with it..so this can't be easily cast as a left vs right dichotomy and the issue is complex.
