Red light doesn't affect the rods in your eyeballs the same way and helps preserve night vision, but there are ranges in the spectrum that red light does not appear on NVG's-- which means (were I to guess) the guys on rooftops in the background there aren't getting their gear blanked out by the lights and glare.

Marines are Navy [don't tell them that, they have short tempers]

That syncs with what Ingraham is going over on FOX right now. Teams in vans in NYC - driver, spotter and 3 or 4 others who hit the store and then move on.

The cops could handle things, but the top officials - mayor/governor - hamstringing them to keep them from doing their jobs to appease rioters and work the political agenda.
