I am watching this live in Detroit at a car plant and it is really eye opening and pretty great.

www.youtube.com...

It is mostly or an all-Black-American-panel and you can tell that normal, real people really like him in person because he actually cares.

This is a good view of his sense of humour and some key points that I applaud a lot

Senator James: 'you don't need to go to Venezuela to see the effects of socialism, just drive down a street in Detroit. Mr president I agree with you ... ' 'you signed a bill to repatriate our supply chain, from overseas way back in 2017...i appreciate your foresight sir ! we need to keep working on that' '

House Representative Whitsett 'we had a great community before, and we will have a great community again, I appreciate you working on that (sic) '

Edit to say, this topic is about not politics, but all Americans, and helping us all.

"This President has been this most pro-Black president in my lifetime and I've lived under 9 presidents - and I say pro not just for for, but as in proactive, not reactive - and I think the history will be kinder to you than the fake news media has been today ' Pastor Darrell Scott

He's not carrying a gun either - I think we've reached breaking point.

It's the state law and the company's policy to wear masks in these factories. He's defying both.

"If we know he's going to come to our state and we know he's not going to follow the law," she said, "I think we're going to have to take action against any company or any facility that allows him inside those facilities and puts our workers at risk."

Ford has also asked Trump to wear a mask during his visit.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel wrote a letter to the White House calling on President Donald Trump to wear a mask during his Thursday visit to the state's Ford plant.

"If he fails to wear a mask, he's going to be asked not to return to any enclosed facility inside our state," Nessel said in an appearance on CNN's Newsday Thursday morning.

He's so brave.

What an inspiration to all!

I hope God protects him and he doesn't get sick.

A request and recommendation from the AG & Ford should not be confused with circumventing a mandatory law.

Are masks mandatory? Should someone who is sick or well wear a mask? The CDC suggests it may not be as easy to spread as initially assumed.

Yes, it's mandatory, and yes it is the law.

Someone saying the word 'law' does not make it a law. Can you post a link to the law that masks are a mandatory requirement with punishable consequences if not followed etc etc - the actual law she is referring to.

It's not "someone" it's the state's attorney general, you know, the chief law enforcer of the state that Trump was visiting.

Just as every state has a governor who oversees the state government, each state also has an attorney general (AG) who is its top legal authority.

Attorney general duties include providing consumer protections from fraud, scams and dangerous products, people and situations, protection of the state's resources by upholding state and federal environmental laws, oversight or direct involvement in criminal court cases and appeals, enforcement of judgments, such as child support and victim's programs, and formal opinions to state and federal agencies.

The law states that if you have any reason for not wearing a mask, including it fogs your mind, you do not have to wear one. The governor is constantly giving speeches without a mask here in Michigan. If the governor is not compromised, she needs to wear a mask in any government building at any time, but then again, she made the rule so she is exempt.

If they give Trump a ticket, he will send the money to the state instead of sending them aid. He can definitely find problems with the way Michigan handled things, Our governments people have been chastized more than once for falsifying evidence to the CDC. They recently have been cutting deaths because they had to make up for their lies. Well, that is not correct either, so we got two numbers now, not one.
