How do we know they maneuvered to avoid the person. That was not evident in the audio from the cockpit.
How do you maneuver a plane left or right at those speeds. Is there precedence for a large 737 plane having that much agility to maneuver to avoid objects on the runway.
Also, I still don’t understand why the pilot say “they“ are behind us. Sound like more than one. But I guess one could say “they” referring to a generalize an individual.

So..It would be like if I was driving and saw a skunk in the middle of my lane. I was about to hit it and swerved to try and miss it. But because I swerved the skunk went under my tires. If I would have stayed straight the skunk would have had a better chance to survive going under the car.
