You'll notice in the Qmaps that show the Chan ID, it is the field with a background color... sometimes with a white font, sometimes black.

In this example it is green:


I discovered, today, how the font color is chosen... it uses a formula to calculate the LUMINESCENCE of the background color and if that is above 128 out of 255 it makes the font black, otherwise it's white.

The background color itself is a representation of the hexadecimal Chan ID in RGB color format - so it is directly attributable to what Chan ID Q has chosen!


For the nerds, the formula used is:

Luminescence = R * 0.3 + G * 0.59 + B * 0.11


My theory is that Q posts with a Chan ID in BLACK font are more ILLUMINATING because the background color has higher LUMINESCENCE.

I think there are probably several loosely affiliated groups (that may even overlap) acting as instigators. Antifa definitely being one of them. Another group is the Revolution Club. I think their main "chapter" is in Chicago but there are several. They were big instigators in Ferguson. They show up anywhere they think they can exploit the situation, hoping that it will become a flash point that spreads to other cities, starting their marxist revolution.
