How do you define "Special Prosecutor"?

I would say John Durham is a Special Prosecutor being given his special task of investigating the investigators.
Are we just splitting hairs or does the title Special Prosecutor in and of itself have more meaning?

That's what I was wondering. Was it a mistake on the part of the writer, or were those the words used? I don't watch Hannity, so I didn't know.

Depending on your profession, vaccinations will be required. Husband is a microbiologist, and his various jobs have required various vaccinations over the years above and beyond what the regular rounds are.

One of his first jobs out of college was working in the state rabies testing labs, for example. It was sort of obvious he was going to need his rabies shots for that.

Given what the regular public thinks of with the term "special prosecutor" (i.e. Robert Mueller), I was caught off guard by reading Durham referred to in that way. People have been calling for a special prosecutor in the Mueller sense for this case ever since the beginning, but none have been appointed. Instead, we have John Durham doing whatever it is he's doing. He isn't a Mueller style special prosecutor, and I didn't think had changed unless there was some way such a thing can happen without the regular public being made aware of it.

What do you think his handle was?

I'll have to look back and find it. I interacted with him a bit but he quit posting here about the time he got his radio show. The guy seemed to have some inside knowledge and from a PM conversation I gathered whomever it was, was close to Trump in some manner.

Independent Special Prosecutor/Counsel -> someone like Mueller from “outside” the current DOJ. He went from private practice to that SC role.

Special Prosecutor/Counsel -> an existing DOJ US Atty tasked to investigate a specific crime/case.

That’s how I see it.

We are definitely splitting hairs Ketsuko but maybe I will learn something because I am not sure but I think Mueller was a Special Counsel and John Durham has been travelling the globe with a huge budget and team of agents at his disposal.
To me John Durham has a similar role as Mueller...both Special assignments.
In my opinion, whether John Durham is an "official Special Prosecutor" or not his role and task are unique and special so I see John Durham as a Special Prosecutor. We are definitely in the weeds here, either way I hope his indictments come soon.

I remember Bob Mueller had to go back to Congress and get his spending authorization renewed every 6 months.

Right, in this instance if we look at where elderly are required to be vaccinated, Nursing homes and international travel.

We saw early deaths from cruise ship in California, and then multiple deaths from one nursing home in Seattle. These would be instances where people most likely were recently vaccinated.

Vaccines are fine for a lot of the population, but elderly may be more vulnerable to bad side effects or immune enhancements.

I’d be curious if any research has been done on the vaccine records of those who died from Covid-19.

I think it less likely there is a specific vaccine link in this case. Children are pushed the flu vaccine too, especially school age kids. So you would think that schools would have been at least as likely as nursing homes to be hot beds if that was the case. Kids have underdeveloped immune systems where the elderly have attenuated ones.

But kids in this case were for some reason far, far less likely to suffer from this illness, but you would have expected similar flu vaccination rates.

I think it's more likely that dense living situations and underlying health conditions coupled with age are your more likely culprits to make you vulnerable.

Not everyone gets the same vaccines.
CDC

Fluzone High-Dose is three-component (trivalent) inactivated flu vaccine, manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur Inc. Fluzone High-Dose is licensed specifically for people 65 years and older. Fluzone High-Dose contains four times the antigen (the part of the vaccine that helps your body build up protection against flu viruses) of standard-dose inactivated influenza vaccines. The higher dose of antigen in the vaccine is intended to give older people a better immune response, and therefore, better protection against flu

In the United States, Fluzone High-Dose is licensed only for persons aged 65 years and older. As with all flu vaccines, Fluzone High-Dose is not recommended for persons with a history of severe allergic reaction to the vaccine or to components other than eggs. Information about vaccine components is located in package inserts from each manufacturer.

Not sure what vaccines were being used in China and Italy.

Here come the "Free Speech for Me but not for Thee" folks to explain why CNN is a trusted news source and not the sheep who pay for the content. Which is kind of ironic as CNN et all don't report, the give opinion of, as do the sheep = same.

Executive Order on Preventing Online Censorship

Worth reading, this is a case of taking away protections and money. They can double down and hope they can skirt the issue and live in fear of screwing up. Or they can abandon control and make it pretty much open source.

They created the loophole to have it both ways, the EO sends the hounds to find ways to close the loophole. They have to powwow with the mindless drones and work out the damages related to ignoring the changing tides.

Interesting chess move. Begs the Q-uestion, does @jack now have a problem with the Minor Attracted People issue and his tweeting of a slice? If he's a publisher he does, as failure to stop means he's liable.

It's about time though. The big media platforms have been putting their fingers on the scales when it's convenient for them for too long and hiding behind the "platform" excuse the rest of the time.

They're like pundits who hold up their hands when they cross the line claiming "comedy".

If they are going to police what goes on the platform, they aren't a platform and are liable for all the speech they allow. If they're a platform, then it's not their job to police the speech.

The changes re:social media could be one of the most noticed booms (of sorts) of all until the real dark issues surface fully. If it clears the way for people to speak openly, then it makes way for future revelations to really carry. Social media censorship is one of the biggest blocks to people speaking out, and I'm going to be watching with interest to see how it plays out.

It's one of those chess moves where the oppositions king is first threatened, and the other side have to start breaking their ongoing strategy to protect themselves, losing any upper hand they might have had.

What would happen if every business in every state opened up on the same day? Call it Open up America Day. The power of the people would override all the corruption. All we the people need to do is agree to do it for us. Who has the manpower to stop innocent commerce? All of the "Karens" can stay home.
