Yes it was intentional. They closed off most of their country but encouraged international travel from Wuhan to other countries.

Trump banned some travel but without knowledge of no symptom transmission, our screenings were next to useless.


Don't forget our friends at the WHO and the Democrats who tried to get all those travel bans lifted.

The World Health Organization, which declared the outbreak a global health emergency this week, has recommended against any travel or trade restrictions in response to the outbreak. Member countries, however, do not have to comply with that guidance.

“Although travel restrictions may intuitively seem like the right thing to do, this is not something that WHO usually recommends,” said Tarik Jašarević, a WHO spokesperson. “This is because of the social disruption they cause and the intensive use of resources required,” he added.

“Adopting these restrictions undermines the cooperative approach we need to respond to this kind of outbreak, specifically by undermining the authority of the WHO, which has recommended against these restrictions,” Worsnop said.

Worsnop said she is hopeful that the WHO will be able to hold countries accountable for disregarding its guidance, including pressing countries for scientific justification for their travel policies and calling out governments that have gone against its recommendations.

I hate the CCP for all the right and legitimate reasons. But what's scary is how deeply & successfully they've penetrated our national security. They are handily winning that war at the moment.

I don't put much stock in dreams, but when I was 13 (Watergate era and, yes Nixon & Kissinger effed up regards China) I had a Red Dawn-type dream where the CCP army was here and in control. It was a very powerful and disturbing dream. Enough so that I've kept my eye on them every since.

Russia isn't an existential threat to us and actually would rather side with us against China but the globalists LOVE China and see them as the model for the NWO. Wake up if'n you ain't. China certainly is a true existential threat.

I don't know about you, but my social credit score would suck.

I dont think a lot of people get it yet.

Even many that do have an issue with the CCP think its something "over there" that we can fight with everything from sanctions to war.

Theyve spent decades pouring mass amounts of money into the west, in everything from major news sources to colleges to politicians to land to technology to social media platforms to video games to hollywood...

Its definitely a conflict, but it isnt one that can be fought in any typical or traditional means.. Or even typical "facts, data, and information."

Im not sure theyll even need to bother with an "official" social credit score. If one doesnt adhere to the narrative (in support, or in rejection; both are controllable and can serve the same goal), the public is likely to just ignore it/them outright.

I'm a socialist from way back, an Australian - an active member of an Australian socialist political party in fact. I trust the CCP about as much as I trust the Trump administration - as far as I can throw them. I like the Chinese people though, for the most part. And Americans are nice folk too, by and large

Not at all about sowing discord. This is merely an opportunity to make it very clear where you stand on this. It seems that some people for various reasons like winning an argument at all costs even going against their own conscience will continually choose the side of evil.

While this may seem like a pointless thing to some, the whole world -- to tell a joke, the whole universe is watching this. I can say that those statements shine like gold. There are even paid CCP shills ( 50 cent army) on here that will see this thread. There are others who may also be watching and begin to see the full truth.

In reality it is much bigger than any of that, but I can assure you as the weeks and months play out ahead, you will see those that side with the CCP fall, and the CCP itself desperately struggling to deflect and spin while getting the opposite results at every turn. The real story begins and ends there and it's not just about COVID.

Every righteous statement condemning the CCP in this thread truly makes me happy to see people choosing a bright future without a second thought. Others seem to struggle as if is somehow a difficult decision. I don't really know why it should be so hard for them to stand against it. It makes me wonder what would they stand against.

I also agree its much more than just the CCP.. But getting folks to even look into the CCP *now* is difficult.

Their pursuit of "soft power" for decades cant have gone unnoticed. Its a helluva tricky thing to tackle though when they have such levels of social influence in the west, from social media platforms to even Harvard. And when that is backed up by folks in pretty high places, its delicate at best.

Is the leadership and those who control those sad sacks living there responsible? Yes. Take them out. The whole idea of the Chinese Government is crazy. But the people? Most of them are just conditioned.

Lets us Iran as an example for this. Leadership - terrible. A lot of people in Iran - decent people.

I always try to differentiate between the CCP and the people. I guess everyone has their own standards though.

I just expect that anything I see on the internet might be fake, up to and including Deep Fakes. And that is something I make triple sure to keep in check when its something I feel strongly about.
