There are multiple ways to stimulate the immune system and some ways to dampen it. They can use yeast to grow viruses with, just like they do with eggs. They are going to start growing a virus in tobacco now since they found that the tobacco mosiac virus can kill cancer. So they are somehow making vaccines in Tobacco now.

I have no way of knowing if your thoughts about this being used would work or not work. I apply research evidence to stuff it does not apply to, and most times it does not work. but often it does check out and will work. Then I verify the conclusion if I can to make sure others have done this, most times someone has done the research but nobody is reading it or applying the knowledge to anything....it is all wasted time. It is not profitable, big pharma and the medical industry want profits to pay everyone.

Yes, as with all vaccines that I know of, you need to get it before you get sick or it will not work...
For a healthy individual who is virus free...
Boosting my antibodies by eating bakers yeast BEFORE I got the virus would not be the same as after I got the virus.
I figure the IgA, IgM, and IgG antibodies will be on high alert and the virus could not thrive, because I would have the same antibodies that are required to beat the virus at the start, not to be used after the fact for the exact reason you stated.
I know not to try it after I get the virus...You need the antibodies before you encounter it...
IMO - I am trying it, but I don't know how much to use...I was going to get the military to join me in.
Same with the tobacco mosaic virus...You would not want to try it after the fact, because it could mess you up.

And yet, I can get yeast sent to my house in a couple days, and can probably find it at the local Walmart. Amazing how they're only hitting Canada and a few places in the US and taking all their yeast for a vaccine, but leaving no shortage in many other places.

A simple google search confirms the shortage.
I saw some at Walmart also. Doesn't mean they are not running low.

There are shortages in some areas. I'm not arguing that. But that doesn't mean thre are shortages everywhere, which there would be if "They" were taking the yeast for a vaccine or a cure. They'd take all the yeast they could, creating more than regional shortages.

Yes and I just rub moldy bread on my staff infection! Heres the thing, MANY people Bake their own loaves of bread and other culinary delights that take yeast to make rise.
