The motivation would be to get things they want. A ubi would not make you rich. It would only be enough for the basics. Enough food to be healthy, a small shelter, cheap cloths, basic health care.
This would end the homeless problem and take the stress off of people but not much else.

People would work to gain things like personal vehicles, big houses, fast electronics, trips, name brand cloths, sports events, music shows, etc.

Sincere question...WHO do you hold responsible for your "very hard life on the streets"?

sounds like the only motivation we have to keep our society running is money. If thats the case maybe it`s not worth it. what if the jobs no one would like to do if not forced, are not really necessary?

I imagine people would fix that hole in the street once they are annoyed about it?

Is it realy money that was the catalist for our modern society?

what about the wars, the soldiers and the MIC would that fall away too?

The lazies are already lazy. maybe they see no point in contributing to a ratrace that only benefits a small percentage?

what about all the doers that have to take a #job to pay their bills, if they could invest their energy into something they like they might be 100 time more productive. not beeing forced to do whatever will relieve a lot of people.
