I just bought a kind of pricey power amp this weekend. It's American made from USA parts, which is not uncommon in this exact sector. As I was finalizing my choice, I noticed a lot of people saying they were going to splurge on audio equipment with their #CoronacheQue. Indeed, the less expensive company sold out of the amp I was looking at a few hours later. (US made, mixed parts)

It was a kind of interesting view into the current economy. Although my "good" amp blew, and I have no intention of fixing it, I didn't really need a new one either, since my back-up 30 year old ADCOM still works fine....made in USA. I think people are just stuck home playing with their stereos. Also with reduced trade of inexpensive equipment, known as "Chi-Fi", prices across the board will generally rise....shockingly. (I couldn't go without a pun)

According to the EXIF data in Q3985 pic it was taken with a Casio EX-S10 camera Feb 14, 2009 @ 21:32:07 and edited in Photoshop on Sept 23, 2010 @ 16:03:02. The pic is huge @ 3648x2432.

I have not head that term in years. My ex is part Cree and her mom full blooded Cree. Her mom would often group the white man culture into this wetiko concept or Wendigo psychosis which she never failed to point out that also includes me. I never argued with her, ever, about it because she always struck me as a sorcerer capable of casting spells onto anyone who crossed her. She was heavy duty into Indian occult practices & ceremonies.

So, the Wetiko Virus fits right into much of what has been discussed here, the mass media reality distortion and the continuous war for our minds, body & spirit today, in mental enslavement.
