I’m trying to figure out why the 1% at risk of dying from CV is impacting the 99% so dramatically.

If you’re in that 1% at risk category, stay the heck away from everyone else. Why should the 99% get their lives turned upside down for the 1%?

The 1% are the selfish ones. Stay at home and die of whatever other underlying medical conditions you have. Die with some dignity and respect.

Don’t go away mad. Just go away.

100 years ago. "Life is a risk, they only reason worth living is the uncertainty and government shouldn't be in the business of removing risks."

Today. "Life is a risk, government needs to remove the risks involved by fining, taxing and imprisoning those who feel otherwise."

On Saturday, day before Easter, a judge in Kentucky granted a temporary restraining order to a Christian Church to protect the pastor and members of the church from the Mayor and police force.
The church was being threatened with prosecution if they gathered for a drive in Easter service.

I highly recommend everyone read the judge's ruling on this case, because clearly there are some here that misunderstand our 1st amendment and how a national emergency may (or may not) affect our constitutional rights.

Also must be 21 years old to purchase a gun. Wondering if it's true is all. Supposedly the taxes are identified in section 8 of the PDF.

I think we have it all backwards.

Quarantining everyone is a mistake. It is like trying to build a wall around every tree in a forest while its on fire. It's not possible to quarantine everyone with 100% efficiency. You may slow the spread, but you won't stop it. You will dim the fire, but it will keep burning. In fact the fire will burn much longer because you are preserving the fuel and supplying small amounts of it to the fire over time. This creates the potential of secondary fires to start at a time and area you least expect. You will also destroy the forest's ecosystem in the process. The only advantage is not overwhelming the firefighters and wall builders.

The best way to stop it is to just let the fire burn up all the fuel as soon as possible (controlled burn). This is dangerous because some trees don't have much left to burn and won't survive and regrow. So it makes more sense to only quarantine those weak trees, because its much easier and more efficient to build walls around a few trees than is is to build a wall around all trees. It will also be better for the forest's ecosystem. The fire will burn out much faster instead of being prolonged forever.

Letting the fire burn in this analogy means let the healthy people get the virus. This is technically what vaccines are, a controlled spread of the virus (with less discomfort for most). However why should we wait a year for a rushed, preservative laden, potentially dangerous to 1 out of 10, and very expensive cocktail of a vaccine? For a little less discomfort?

Instead of creating tests to detect the infected and quarantining those people, we should be creating tests to detect the weak and compromised and quarantine them instead. Protect the weak.

Those same tests will identify the healthy, the ones that will survive, and we should let them get the virus and deal with the discomfort for a week or two. Making sure to keep them away from the weak.

Big pharma and vaccine companies have pushed their agenda and fear to the point people are afraid of a little discomfort. I'd say losing their job, their business, their livelihood, and their social life in quarantine is a little more uncomfortable than a high fever, other flu symptoms, and potential visit to a doctor. They have made people believe their bodies are useless, but in reality their bodies still do all the work.

Our bodies are capable of handling this. We should only quarantine the weak, and let everyone else build immunity to it.
