I am so sorry to hear of your 18 y/o cat's passing.

Hey all.

Sorry for the lack of input and interaction today. It's been hectic. I have read and starred every post ( if I missed any, apologies ).

Here in spirit and my heart and thoughts are with all y'all.

Dear Diary, March 23, 2020.

It's day five of my voluntary self-quarantine.

I've watched the first 19 seconds of every single movie and show on Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime Video. None of it was interesting at all.

The corner store owner offered me a job because his entire staff quit. Said he'd pay me two squirts of hand sanitizer per day and one roll of toilet paper a week in exchange for 12 hours a day.

I'm considering his offer.

I called poison control to ask if it was possible to overdose on Hot Pockets.

They hung up on me.

It was a serious question.

I finished reading Wikipedia. Hope there's a sequel. I'm getting bored.

Som feel-good news ...

Out where I'm at, the local celebrities have gotten into game funding the local food bank, Harvesters. It started with Tyreek Hill, and that got other Chiefs involved. Each one trying to donate more than the others.

Eventually, Eric Stonestreet of Modern Family fame got into the act. He's a local guy and big sports booster himself, and today, because so many of the current and former players are donating, the entire Chiefs organization announced they would flat-out match any donations made.

At the rate they're going right now, they may end up feeding a significant portion of the city all by themselves in the coming weeks.

We all gonna get fat !! Well, I am.

Anyone else think AG Barr looks like Bergermeister Meisterberger? LMAO

I loved his portion of the press conference.

AG Barr((Burgermeister Meisterburger) gonna announce mass arrests for anyone playing with toys! And Santa Clause is on wanted posters.

I am cracking myself up.

p.s. If anyone doesn't know what the hell i'm going on about, it's from the old Rankin/Bass Santa Clause is Coming to Town Xmas special.

Oh I know. Just pointing out that Barr is a thicc boi, Bumbles are thicc bois. Within Rankin and Bass in Universe continuity it's possible that the good Burgermeister, yet another thicc boi, is a Bumble double agent...

I'm going to need red yarn and some push pins - this trying to use claymation to insult Bob Barr thing got far more complicated than I'd initially planned...

Which reminds me, I have to put my laundry in dryer. I had to wash my Bumbles PJ's!!! Yep, I got them!

Hefficide, I am not really trying to insult AG BARR, I love googly eyed claymation men of germanic origin. In fact, Barr looks a lot like my ex I was telling everyone I had to block 2 days ago!

All of my exes look like claymation characters from Rankin/Bass Xmas specials. My other ex, looks just like Jingle elf from A Year Without a Santa Clause.

Every year we take out a little plush and hang him in effigy!!!

That wont give me the full picture because I get the top of the line Charmin where one roll is supposed to equal 4 regular rolls... and that's too much math for me to try and figure out

if I run out, I will just pick up the clumps of cat hair I can find in every corner and make due.

Ugh ... so that was the first full day of quarantine with everything under our belts.

Discovered that son is a champion squirrel when it comes to schooling at home. We warned him that we were back into regular routine which we did, but he apparently thought we weren't serious about his schoolwork coming home and him having to do it. What started as about two or three hours tops turned into a five or six hour marathon because he just kept distracting himself with things.

I was about ready to hang him by the end. I hadn't gotten anything done and neither had my husband because we were busy riding herd on him. I average proofing 70 or 80 jobs in my four hour shift and I might have gotten through 20.

We had to have a serious talk about how just because he's at home doesn't mean he can procrastinate his way out of school.

And seriously, we did all the things we were supposed to get him going. He just didn't listen and still thought he'd duck out of it. He never takes it seriously until he gets in trouble for it.
