the doctors in my family have basically imposed a family quarantine until this brushes over.

the death rate for babies and elderly are low but infection rates are very high with long incubation period.

if this was more lethal i would say this was a man made bug that was let out/got out

Biowarfare? Potentially, it has damaged the world economy but I don't see any winners with that, if nations are going on lock down then it's not necessarily a good thing. Commerce is a major part of civilization.

IF it is an economical Bio-Warfare, to see who wins, you'll have to wait in a long term. As I see it, the ones that will gain are everyone but China. This should be a wake up call that we can't trust our industries to one single country. And need to bring back our industries and/or look for other nations.

If this is a purposely released virus I have plenty of other theories. Some are very wild and dumb. Do not want to say them until some research scientists are doing are proven. Other are more down to earth and could be possible. It involves our economic model and how TPTB would protect it.

Ayn Rand wrote "Atlas Shrugged". It is a story about Objectivism, wherein all U.S. major industry leaders abandoned their companies and moved to a secret place in Colorado to restart an idea. "Who is John Galt" was a phrase that lost its meaning over time (John Galt led the exodus of those Industry Magnats). They did so in protest of Government interference in their trades. For instance; Rail companies (like a Union Pacific) could haul 30 cars for 100 miles within a 24 hour period in order all rail companies using others lines participate. This was a "fairness and equity rule" so all even the substandard could participate in free trade.

Steel companies that had an innovative product (such as Cor-ten) could only produce so many tons per day in order to let everyone (even those producing a flawed product) have a footing in the marketplace; and X amount of Cor-ten would have to go to those making toasters instead of I beams. This is a story of how industry can be socialized and a country of innovation destroyed. At the time of its writing the military industrial complex had not been created.

Chances are I already have it

On the up from my mild symptoms now. The real issue is too many people getting it at once overloading intensive care support. Oh and those same people who run around spreading the flu or cold or whatever every year. I've worked for businesses that wanted me to work after stating I have an infection. I said yes back in the day just to teach silly bosses a lesson... I got good overtime a couple of weeks later. Point being their should be consequences to that kind of behaviour and attitude.

About 4-5 days ago I had the theory of it being designed to cover the inevitable stock market crashes. Yeah, the virus made you poor kinda thing?

It's too early to tell what's going to happen with the world economy but I do agree with you that China wouldn't win if that's the case. It's the more polluted and poorer nations (in terms of individual wealth) that will suffer the most. India won't do well either I can imagine.

I am just looking at the results the governments actions are creating:

Isolation,monitoring and tracking of the entire population
All non-essential travel prohibited
Non-essential populations isolated
Debts increased to keep affected countries afloat

A semi-dangerous virus is the perfect way to organise the populace without leading to all out chaos. The debts put countries more into the pockets of the IMF. I don't think the virus will increase in it's potency through genetic mutation. That would be too non-specific and take out people they may need. I think a more targeted event is due to happen once were all nicely locked away in our houses.

Does anyone remember them illuminati trading cards? Pretty sure after the quarantine card it was the population reduction card.

What is hinky is the fact that they have been hedging their plays since January. Always reacting never any real, coordinated proactive measures.

It seems to me if it was any other possible scenario besides an actual, legit pandemic there would have been a more clear, decisive, coordinated play by governments.

This mad scramble, the disjointed, uncoordinated response by western governments screams like they really were caught off guard. Imho.

And that they could not trust/verify whatever little info they were getting.

So, all that said, if it's not a naturally occurring thing, I'm going with biowarfare, either on purpose or accidental release.

One thing that has lingered in the back of my mind is the shut down of that observatory last year that was so strange.

But, truth is unreality has gripped the world for a few years now so...could be anything.

I doubt the hands that pull the strings care who comes out on top as long as they get their authoritarian state in America.

They are sinister and clever and will use anyone, even Trump, to get to their end game.

Once they get there, they can move and shake things around, changing the characters as they see fit.

So the key is to never let them get there.

Yes, that theory has been posted a few times in the Coronavirus Update threads. It goes kind like that, but I would add one little thing, and we need more time and testing to find out.

The thing I would add is this, and please take this with a HUMONGOUS grain of salt (I would like doctor to tell me if this are possible hypothesis):

IF that little bugger will not leave your body, just like herpes or other virus and stays inside. Then what if it gets re-activated when you are older? It will probably kill you. After all it said that our bodies has introduced virus into our own DNA before. I wrote a bit about that with links in this post. It's a good way to control older population so they can steal your pensions and a way to keep younger slaves for their system. Work all your life and then die (not so different than now, but no old people around... you know, the problems with an aging population under the current system). That would also make you consume more because you won't have to save for when you are older.

Also, while I was investigating the data I posted in the previous post I linked, I found out that there is a gene in Chromosome 4 called PARM1: Prostate androgen-regulated mucin-like protein 1.

For what I have been investigating the human PARM1 gene encodes the prostate androgen-regulated mucin-like protein 1, which is expressed in heart, kidney, and placenta (source). Could a mutation of this gene provoke a failure in those organs? I would like to be corrected on this if I understood wrongly: Does this gene also regulates progesterone? If it does, the consequences of somehow disrupting this gene are very serious. For what I understood from this paper called "Prostate androgen-regulated mucin-like protein 1: a novel regulator of progesterone metabolism", it seems possible that PARM1 regulates it.
