I have been under the impression this corona virus is a bio-weapon.

I am over 60 and I am wondering if this "virus" is a means
to rid the planet of old, useless eaters?

They want us useless eaters to go to the doctors and take more meds to support the high paying medical and pharmaceutical people. It is a fear mongering technique, but in reality, people who are in these high risk groups actually take meds that blocks or dampens the immune system, which makes them more susceptible. The treatment increases there risk as much or more than their health risk itself.

All u have to do is compared the reaction from the Swine flu to the Corona. The media is completely hysterical today and the swine was more deadly.

It's highly unlikely. There is literally zero indication it is.

I said this in another thread. The cure is worse than the disease. Covid-19 is being used as a political tool to hurt Trump and if people are casualties of war so be it. At Any Cost!

Please tell me you don't honestly believe this.

You sound needy and don't seem to be able to face the truth.

I just sourced experts on CNN saying the same thing Trump said. Influenza follows the same pattern. Are you saying Madrid doesn't ever get influenza? That's incredible, can you source it?

You posted a link with a doctor saying CoVid will disappear in spring when temperatures start rising. I provided you with data of an European city that is epicentre for Covid in Europe despite temperatures being higher than what you see in early spring - late summer. Warm weather is not stopping the spread obviously.

Warm weather alone? No. Experts have been saying that warm weather AND humidity will knock out the virus. Madrid has some humid months, and dry months in the opposite season. The least humid month is July (25.2% relative humidity), and the most humid month is December (60.9%). They missed their natural window it seems.

Which leaves me questioning about some of our southwestern states that always herald their lack of humidity as a good thing. Here in Michigan, humidity gets thick and oppressive, but for once I am looking forward to it.

Yep. KC is a veritable swamp through May, June and July between the rivers and the temps. Husband hates it, but this year, I'll take it.

I went through a layoff from work for nearly the same reasons years ago.
2 months later , they called asking if I would consider coming back.
Took 3 months for me to make up my mind to go back.

Also better to be laid off and get unemployment. I just moved to vegas and work live entertainment...as you can guess there is no work and since I just got here I haven't been able to get into the Union yet which means I get nothing...no unemployment no nothing...just unpaid bills.

I'm sure all over Italy they are all thinking about how this will hurt trump.
I'm willing to bet they don't know who he is other than a name on the news.
They don't care about him. Or the election, or 2016 or any of that.

What does Italy with to do with the media making people think Corona is going to kill everyone because of Trump?

Trump is the only leader to politicize this virus.
There is no left VS right in the rest of the world when it comes to fighting the Covid. First he brushed it off as democrat hoax. Than he said he would refuse to be tested. 20 hours ago he blamed Obama for the slow response of CDC.

Stupidest comment of the day. Please show me where Trump said the virus is a hoax and doesn't exist.

This is the problem with you foolish stupid liberals, fake news media lies and you lap it up.

This post is about media fear mongering. Can you break away from your left vs right paradigm for one second
....

That sucks man. I'm sorry to hear it.

It's also my biggest current worry. I'm not worried of this virus. I'm worried of what has happened to you. And is and will be happening to so many and possibly myself.

I hear you. I wish things were different. I hope this insanity ends quick.

I'm sorry to hear of your grandmothers passing.. its never easy to lose someone. Then to have your job terminated a few hours later.. I'd be reeling too. I hope you'll be okay through all this. Glad you got the small annoyances fixed so they can be forgotten now at least.
I'm not sure about my income right now either, we'll see how it goes in a couple more weeks.

Reply to silly--
You've got to be joking silly? -VERY surprised to read that one area of the country has not seen the panic buying, nor noticed that online suppliers are also out? C'mon.
Between family and friends, we have a wide swath of North Texas and 2 other states covered and I can tell you the tp/paper towel aisles have been empty around here since Thursday. I went Thursday for cat food and it was insane. I went to kroger (big flagship store) this morning and the store was nearly stripped. I guess this is my generations version of what rationing must have been like. I've never seen nearly completely empty meat cases, canned aisles, bread racks, and paper products. Was really interesting. I'm somewhat prepared and have some things already but wanted to see for myself -- totally nuts!!

My Sis works at Paris and doesn't know if she will keep her job of forty plus years. They were at ten percent occupancy which is really dismal. She also came into some asswipe from the other side of the globe who claimed to have had the virus.

This could severely cripple Las Vegas.

I mentioned about 30 days ago that all casino towns will be ghost towns.
