What a difference a few days can make ! A few days ago I did our weekly shopping, a little on the heavy side ( full basket ) 1 large pk of TP ( 2 weeks worth ) and it was relatively calm. This morning I go to the same market for a few things I forgot and the place is a MAD House. OK...take a breath, it sucks, but I'm determined to be kind and thoughtful in a bad situation. The aisles have now become lines too, so it requires some common sense and cooperation to allow people to shop still by keeping your cart and body to one side, after politely asking at least 20 clueless people on cell phones to please excuse me because they were unnecessarily blocking the aisle I finally get in line myself that took 1hr. and 45mins. to get through....uggg..
I'm still keeping my cool, friendly chatting with lady behind me. In front of us were two women who had two shopping carts with some large items in them. So it becomes apparent that these ladies had a strategy, they got in line with two shopping carts and then they each went through the store gathering their groceries, the carts are now getting so full, one of them off loads the big stuff in her cart next to the check stand so she can STILL keep filling it !!! We've now been in line an hour and myself and others behind me are getting annoyed, rolling eyes, glaring at them as they continue to go back and forth filling their carts.
If this isn't bad enough, they are the only ones in line blocking the aisle, completely oblivious to others still trying to shop. Well, I cracked guys... I say to the one younger women who spoke English " Do you think what you're doing is very nice ? " She says to me, " what difference does it make, you gotta wait in line anyways " ...uggg...I say to her " Yeah, but I got in line after spending the time to gather my groceries, your cheating and being quite inconsiderate to the rest of us in line. " She smirks and puts up her " talk to the hand lady "..... She then starts laughing with the older lady, speaking in another language I didn't understand. They weren't done though, she gets on her phone and her gang banger Husband / BF shows up and starts glaring at me, while she continues to run around gathering groceries !!!
Really shook my Faith in Humanity...

Seriously
Who is hording the bananas !?
Can't find bananas anywhere.
It's not like they can be
stored in the pantry for a later date.
I like to keep a few on hand for the potassium, rather
than buying junk food,
but none, no where, nudda, zip
As for fighting over tp scary stuff. I tend avoid
confrontations, but if someone reached into my cart to
rudely take something I'd have to say something . . .
Anyways . . . me thinks u.s. will soon have
another e-coli epidemic , along with a soaring
demand for Prozac and lithium. (so much for enlightenment)
