Not long ago, there was an attempt to accuse Elizabeth Warren of being sexually predatory. It was another massive media brouhaha but was revealed to have been a right-wing propagandist set-up, and entirely untrue. So there is precedent for this type of PR.

And that's weird, the charges got dropped, despite all the continuing media beat-up about what is essentially a misdemeanor? Why would that be?

And it is very political. It isn't about an assault or a falsified assault. It is clearly being used for propaganda purposes.

Within hours, there were thousands of posts online calling out Smollet as a fake, before there was any further evidence known by the general public. People had made up their minds before they had any evidence or facts. That is the very definition of prejudice. In fact, the whole vehemence of both sides of the argument seems over the top, to me, a foreigner.
