When man has nothing left to lose...he loses it. Perhaps thats what this country need...a revolution where blood must be spilled on the streets..a reply to: Asgaard

Hurricane Katrina showed America that the police cannot be expected to stay on the job more than 48-72 hours as they will be home protecting their families and foraging for food and water like everyone else.

Former police, now operating as gangs, will become common in an effort to secure the products which will ensure survival.
Therefore, when your home is under attack, there will be nobody to call. Everyone will be on their own.

Water treatment plants will stop operating for the same reasons that you will not be able to find a cop during this crisis nobody will be manning the water treatment plants. Toilets will back up and diseases will spread like wildfire.

A Revolution is nothing to look forward to.

Civil unrest will surely follow sometime soon and civil war soon thereafter...

Yup. The civil war will be people like me who don't get the flu shooting the ones who do. It'll be like Zombieland but realer.

Small discrepancy, but they didn't eat the zombies after they killed them. We know the extent of your food prepping has been ammunition, bbq rubs, lots of charcoal, and a banner for your front door that says "Free Oregano Oil". Little do they know the free oregano oil is administered with a Ron Popeil Flavor Injector post-mortem.

Not to change the topic, but Hillary was supposed to win in a walk, too.

Thomas Dewey was supposed to beat Truman.

Chicken counting before the hatching isn't always a smart thing to do...

Now then...

Washing one's hands, work surfaces wipedowns, hoping one's co-workers are smart enough to stay home when feeling poorly, all will go a long way towards defeating any chance of the corona virus, or any other flu like bug.

22,000 children died today due to poverty.

And they die quietly in some of the poorest places on our Earth, far removed from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world.

How come that doesn't amount to civil unrest and nobody heard about them?

While people hoard supplies because of media driven fear. The irony.

Pretty sure there 16 million people in Italy wishing they had hoarded supplies, well minus the people that did hoard supplies that is...

Are they not allowed to go shopping? Can you quote anyone is running out of food? Other than the poor already going without?

People may dine out at restaurants, drink in bars, exercise in gyms and shop in stores, but only if managers guarantee that patrons remain just over 3 feet apart. "In case of violation, the activity will be suspended," the government said in a statement.

How would I do that exactly, we've only just found out they've decided to quarantine 16 million people, how on earth would I know the details and how individuals are dealing with it.

My concern is this quarantine being adopted in other countries, like the one I live in.

Maybe use your brain and do a bit of research before spreading innuendo to fear monger. Or know what your actual posting about. And never mind you can order food from grocery stores by phone for pickup. Or have times actually delivered. Can you quote/cite their food supply is compromised.

Your the one that brought up Italy to make a cheeky remark off the back of discussing the irony of people hoarding food while children die everyday from malnutrition. Not me.

I would imagine they will do so to continue to survive, rather than pay tax, but aye that essentially what they will do, if they wish to continue to own or reside in their farms.

I don't see the bankers nor revenue collectors giving much of a rats arse other than there own back bangers, to be honest, Choronovirus, martial law or otherwise "They" are still going to require their pound of flesh.

Well there's people and more people
What do they know, know, know
Go to work in some high rise
And vacation down at the Gulf of Mexico
Ooo yeah
And there's winners, and there's losers
But they ain't no big deal
'Cause the simple man baby pays the thrills,
The bills and the pills that kill
