Really not sure if this is a conspiracy, but the timing of this "CoronaVirus" BS is very suspicious to me. First, why did it just show up out of the blue, I have never heard of it until last week and now, 1000's are dead and millions to be infected soon? Where did this thing come from? Certainly, for something to materialize like this seemingly overnight is very suspicious.
So, the impeachment is over and boom SHTF, now everybody is out of their mind racing to the stores to hoard toilet paper, masks (which are useless) and sanitizer? How long before Trump declares martial law and uses that to keep the presidency indefinitely? What happens when all of the elections are suspended and the entire country can't vote him out?
Civil unrest will surely follow sometime soon and civil war soon thereafter, OMFG, this all just stinks to high heaven.
fill those two jugs again.
In contrast, very little is known about the new coronavirus and the disease it causes, dubbed COVID-19, because it's so new. This means COVID-19 is something of a wild card in terms of how far it will spread and how many deaths it will cause.
In addition, older adults have been hit the hardest. The death rate soars to 14.8% in those 80 and older; among those ages 70 to 79, the COVID-19 death rate in China seems to be about 8%; it’s 3.6% for those ages 60 to 69; 1.3% for 50 to 59; 0.4% for the age group 40 to 49; and just 0.2% for people ages 10 to 39. No deaths in children under 9 have been reported.
Though the death rate for COVID-19 is unclear, most research suggests it is higher than that of the seasonal flu.
This disease has just started.

With all due respect, have you been hiding under a rock or something?
This has been in the headlines since December.
And its a global issue not something that is restricted to the USA and has absolutely nothing to do with Trump and he has no need to 'declare martial law and uses that to keep the presidency indefinitely' because as far as I can tell, granted I'm watching from the outside, he's going to walk the November election.
Not everything is solely about America.
And please people give up with this unnatural obsession with left/right democrat/republican bollocks....its becoming incredibly boring for the rest of us and hugely embarrassing for you.
People seem to think hoarding tons of crap is going to protect them.
22,000 children died today due to poverty

22,000 children died today due to poverty.
And they die quietly in some of the poorest places on our Earth, far removed from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world.
How come that doesn't amount to civil unrest and nobody heard about them?

While people hoard supplies because of media driven fear. The irony.

What worries me, here anyway, is they are probably going to be forced to close down all the schools and universities to prevent the spread of this virus.
What happens when its the foodbanks that begin to close.
There are 1.6 million people in the United Kingdom that cannot afford to survive, where are they going to get food and what will happen to there and their kids immune systems if those are forced to close?
The knock-on effects of this Virus could be a lot more than we bargained for considering the current socio-economic predicament a lot of people are in.
