An "Ezekiel Wheel" Looking UFO Was Caught On Film By STEREO Space Observatory

This is an interesting and perplexing find.

On February 29, a strange, circular craft was caught on film by the Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO).

STEREO (Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory) is a solar observation mission.[1] Two nearly identical spacecraft were launched in 2006 into orbits around the Sun that cause them to respectively pull farther ahead of and fall gradually behind the Earth. This enables stereoscopic imaging of the Sun and solar phenomena, such as coronal mass ejections.

This circular craft looks a lot like the circular space station in the classic sci-fi epic 2001: A Space Odyssey:

Could it be space debris that is a lot closer to the camera?

Link says , 'PLASTIC suffered a high voltage anomaly on December 5. The instrument is in the process of being recovered to full operating mode, which is expected to take several days. Until this process is completed, PLASTIC data should be considered as untrustworthy.'

Never seen space debris looking like that object, but I suppose anything is possible. Both observatory spacecraft are in high, elliptical geocentric orbits. Below is their current position

I found this as well:

January 21, 2020: The PLASTIC team reports: All PLASTIC systems are behaving well, except there is a high background count rate, which seems to have a locus (a particular position, point, or place] toward the non-solar wind side of the instrument (which we call the WAP or Wide Angle Partition), which includes the ram direction. While we continue to monitor the background rates, we are gradually increasing the post acceleration voltage, alternating with short windows of exercising the entrance system.

I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at here. It's not just an ordinary image, but rather coronal ejections? What does the blanked out area above it represent?

I have sent an email to the webmaster's email link at the bottom of the page.

I guess we'll see if it gets fixed or not.

That is the closest I’ve ever seen to the UFO I saw as a kid .

That being said .

This is a Russian nuclear powered satellite known as the TEM.

The problem may be that the movie isn’t long enough, i.e. doesn’t have enough frames. Some players/browsers don’t like that. I’ll look into it. Increasing the duration from one day to three may take care of it.

Hi Bill, just got a this email about the HI2 browse data. I looked and I see the running difference HI2 MPEG movies are blank (as they are for other days as well). I don’t know for sure, but that is my best guess as to what he is talking about.

PLASTIC measures the properties of the bulk solar wind and provides plasma characteristics of protons, alpha particles and heavy ions.

So the PLASTIC sensor is a mass spectrometer. It is not a camera. Sadly the website does not state what exactly the image is showing.

My guess is that the "wheel" is a sensor artifact.

It can also be seen in 2018 05 - 2018 06 data btw.

The image in the op is an enclosed circle. Infact, it's 2 circles; a circle within a circle. The image you provided just doesn't fit for the image in the op in my opinion.

In the video there’s time in between the shots .

The stereoscopic video looks to be under filter .

On top of the video which probably isn’t a video but linked still shots.

So I was taking Satellite motion in the consideration for its Circular appearance . .


There are several other similar satellites in the KB arsenal .


I also seriously doubt that Russia’s secret satellite is gonna look exactly like it does in the drawing .
