It happens on ATS EVERY damn night starting at 9PM.

The attacks keep coming over and over again...making it impossible to write anything of any length on this site...BEFORE my security intercepts it and I lose the page.
Sometimes, the attacks come so frequently my security can't stop them fast enough and I immediately get redirected away from the page.

This DOES NOT happen anywhere else to me but on ATS...and it feels personal.
This is also WHY I am no longer able to engage in debate on ATS AFTER 9 PM.

Just a small sampling of what constantly takes place ONLY on this site EVERY NIGHT starting at 9 PM.:

Does this happen to anyone else here?
Do these sites look familiar?

I have Norton 360...do frequent virus scans...and always come up clean.

WHY does this ONLY happen on ATS?

I’m dying to know what you’re getting at as well.

I have the same problem, OP. The ads cover the keyboard to type for me.

I am schizophrenic. Read everything 2 or 3 times differently. Bad habit. Reading a thread about Honey I thought what you would call significant other. A cure for or antioxidant? Just saying. Maybe that means something to someone somewhere? Let your guard down. We are your friends?

Could be malware, lookup RIG exploit kit...

Have you tried scanning? (Malwarebytes)

RIG is spread via suspicious advertisements that have been inserted into legitimate websites.

I've never heard of this happening to anyone else and it doesn't happen to me. Then again, I'm not exactly that active and definitely not into political debate here.

Are you suggesting (or am I) that someone is targeting you specifically to hinder your ability to reply to political mud-pit nonsense? Do you happen to swing left or right?

If thats the case, then that's lame. Really lame. Kinda like wasting time and energy on debating with people who will never, ever admit that they're wrong even if faced with insurmountable quote brackets. Your sources are bias. Well, yeah because someone will never find dirt on the other side from websites bias to the other side. Facepalms all around.

Don't do "pron" online.

I prefer the real thing.

My politics are clearly right-leaning.
I mentioned it feels 'personal' due to the predictable timing and the same array of several malicious fake website attacks.

Then there's no way anyone has you singled out from ATS at least to stop you from participating in the debates.

I thought you might have been a liberal and there was a conspiracy here.

It could be Norton 360 being overly 'triggered'

I'd run a scan with the ESET online scanner or some other similar free 'run once' solution. I've never been a fan of Symantec products.

Also, it might be time to try a new web browser (and don't import your previous stuff) just to be sure that the redirects aren't saved in your browser settings. And, check out your hosts file.

It could be the Advertising Network ATS uses, they are limited in options due to the nature of the site. Ad company probably runs not so friendly ads after 9pm. Or not.

IDK...My security says they're all malicious FAKE sites, though.

I have been having the exact same issue on Chrome for the last week. I ended up switching to Firefox which is unaffected.

The only site on my trusted list that forcibly redirects is ATS..

Should I continue to trust this site?..

Have you considered a VPN? Maybe you need to hide a bit more. Set the VPN to come from the west coast so it's 6pm instead of 9. I don't know if that works but it's worth a try.

Look familiar? Every night at 2100, 0000, and sometimes at 1900 and 0100 (all pdt) Yep somebody isn't happy with what gets discussed here. I'm betting it's F. Brennen, but it could also be a few others. F. Brennen seems childish enough and skilled enough to do this though, but then again what the heck do I know.
