Meghan Markle looking for superhero role in Hollywood, report says

I think this sums Markle up perfectly.

"She knows she can't carry a film as an actress.

According to the source, she's looking for "something that pays big but which doesn't put her front and center."

So basically she knows she is not that big a deal and can't carry the film, but wants a super high paying gig where someone else is doing the hard work for her.

Kind of like how she wanted to piggy back off being royalty without doing the work of being royalty.

Duly noting this is an anonymous source... but I think this says it all:

That's the problem, huh? We can't get past it? It seems that she's the one who can't "get past" that she's Meghan Markle... and these days I just cringe for her. Granted, this is an unconfirmed and anonymous source, but it is believable because of what can be confirmed... which is all on her.

I would love to see her do something truly noble and praiseworthy. But I'm beginning to wonder if she would even recognize a truly noble deed...

She is apparently terrified of living in America. Would a high paying gig help her feel safe all of a sudden?

Hollywood ain't like it used to be. Back in the day a big name like Will Smith, Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, and the decades of classic stars before them was what drew an audience, but today it's the IP franchises themselves that draw the crowds (such as the MCU, Star Wars, and Fast and the Furious); so studios basically have their pick of the litter with scheduling being the primary hindrance. Because of that shift the "big stars" don't even have the same negotiating leverage that they once used to, let alone some mediocre supporting actor like Markle.

She's gonna have a rough time if she thinks she's gonna find a massive payday for a supporting role in Hollywood. Even stars like Will Smith have lowered themselves to supporting/ensemble roles again in attempts to try to stay relevant like he did in Suicide Squad.

I'm actually on the lookout for a role where I don't have a lot of lines, only pop up in a few scenes, but clearly the most powerful character and save the day at the end. I'd like A list pay as well please. I mean how can the most powerful character not get the most pay?
