I bet there are several thousands in USA alone, the administration is not testing people on purpose so everything looks fine and dandy. Flame away, I don't care.
Only thing you need to do is take a look at Europe. Same # is happening in USA as we speak. South Korea put an 120% effort to stop this and succeed. Europe is waking up, might be too late. But USA, oh boy oh boy.
BREAKING UPDATE: The Alabama Department of Public Health says a Montgomery County resident is Alabama's first confirmed case of a COVID-19 infection. At a news conference in Montgomery, a state health official said the infected resident recently traveled out of state to a state where the virus is circulating. The resident, who was not otherwise identified, has been in self-isolation since starting to feel ill, the official said.

Well.....crud my husband has high blood pressure and is on 2 meds. He just refilled his 90 day supply. He is already stressed after waking up to the realization yesterday.
Plus the middle school in my area with a case is in my neighborhood only a few streets away.
The stores were cleared out last night. I went in this morning to grab more laundry soap. There was barely anyone but the shelves were empty. I did get some soap though.
The cashier said last night was "horrible." So glad for this thread. I was ready.

Officials from the World Health Organization (WHO) will provide an update on the spread of the novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19 on Friday.
This is the first update since WHO director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus declared the outbreak of coronavirus a pandemic.
AUSTIN, Texas — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said Friday he will extend his self-quarantine to Tuesday after learning that he shook hands with someone 10 days ago who later tested positive for the new coronavirus.“Unfortunately, last night I was informed I had a second interaction with an individual who yesterday tested positive for COVID-19,” he said in a statement. “On March 3, I met in my D.C. office with Santiago Abascal, the leader of the Vox Party in Spain. We met for about 20 minutes, sitting together at a conference table. We shook hands twice and took pictures together.”

Things got very real here yesterday. I am always moderately stocked and also picked up extras here and there the last month. I'm in ok shape I think. It seems we are somewhat neighbors. PM if you get low and you can drive by and I'll throw some supplies in your car. We gotta help each other when we can. I am going to check on an elderly lady up the street today to see how she's fixed for supplies.
That panicky feeling is the tool of the enemy. It's hard to resist but know it's by design. We'll be ok
