And so if god say's unto thee, thou shalt not kill, then contradicts thy self and says unto thee kill in thy name of my glory. Shalt thou then kill?

There are plenty of example's where god says to kill. You should know that.

Yep. Sort of. My faith, that teaches me to search the truth of God with all my heart and mind, on the foundation that we should love Him because He is perfect love, taught me to trust God above my own power.

It's too big a topic to fully explain to the satisfaction of Anti-Christians, you already have the whole Bible and history to explain what so many understand but you 'refuse' to, yet it's all there to be found.

Christ is the only perfect one to have walked the earth and He tells us to love, because we are freed from the curse of the laws God gave to counter the spread of evils caused by constantly disobeying Him.

Just as surgeons can remove, repair and replace, a diseased heart to save the body, so it was Gods intention to cure the diseased body of mankind, but since Christ's time on this earth there are none of us not so diseased, so He has promised to return with restoration to perfect health for all who ask and are curable at their core.

Lets see, how many disease carrying cows, sheep and poultry have been destroyed in this 'enlightened age' because man refuses to husband them by God's advice in lew of chasing short term profits?

How many babies, old and sick folk have been killed by doctors who decide the quality of their lives isn't worth the expence and inconvenience to the lives of others?

How many people have been killed by wars and executed by Governments who decide for whatever reason, they should?

How many people have died from pollutants and drugs, corporations create and spread for profit, above basic human rights?

When you can prove all the above destructions, in a very short modern list, are brought about solely by and through modern, Bible studying, Spirit blessed Christians, and against the will and effort of all non-Christians, I'll concede your posts are inspired by love, truth and justice instead of some other dark reason that so moves you to try to tear all good away from anything Truely, Christian.

and i'd like to add he promised to return within his disciple's lifetime, yet he hasn't because it's not true. just like many believed he was coming back in the year 2000 and the world was going to end...but it didn't. how long will christians wait? 99% of life that has ever existed on earth is extinct...humans are no different, we thought we were self sufficient, but we're not, we'll run out, burn out and cease to exists...shakespear, jesus, religion, science...none of that will matter if we're extinct. quit worrying about anti-christian conspiracies, and start worrying about something that matters, like the state of this so called 'god-created' polluted world.

actually, i think you'll find if you're old and sick they keep you alive for as long as possible...it's against the law to do anything else. i know of a nurse who has a nurse friend who was next to a bed of a 90 or so year old woman, the woman stopped breathing so the nurse had to perform CPR, and in doing so broke some of the old woman's ribs. the old woman was revived, and in a lot of pain...and died a week later. the question hear is not about doctors deciding the quality of lives isn't worth expence and so on...it's why in the world was the old woman revived, and in the process he ribs broken.

i could put the question to you 'how many young children are going to die because their evangelist parents wont let them see a doctor, and insist on the power of prayer to heal their diabeties'...

on another note...1500 replies to this topic, and not an ounce of resolution? there still hasn't been an agreement on if there is an anti-christian conspiracy...it's just the adult version of christians saying 'yeah there is'...and an adult version of others saying 'fraid not'.

on almost every other level christians trust science. just not on anything that conflicts with their faith, religion and beliefs. hypothetical: science finds cure for cancer...i'd put my money on most christians, taking the neccesary medication for this new cure. however, science says world is billions of years old, dinosaurs lives 100 millions years ago, and humans evolved from a common ancestor that we have with apes...christians say...errrrrrrr wrong.

It almost reminds me of that stargate atlantis show. The team capture's a Prior and uses echnology to block his powers, Yet the Prior will not listen to reason and common sense. The god's he worshipped were not god's. They were using him to advance their own agenda's. The team even brought up alot of good points. In the end, all it lead to was the prior spouting more and more blind faith more angrily. He knew they were right.

50 years ago almost all people were racist...now there's very few. 50 years ago gay people couldn't walk hand in hand down the street...now it's easier for them to do that. it's about the evolution of moral standards, however christians seem to stay put in the past by not accepting gay people and modern issues, but the rest of the population seem to accept new things and learn to live with them. maybe christians need to learn to live with the fact that not everyone is going to have the same beliefs as them. the sooner they do that, the sooner they can move on, because right now christians today may aswell be living in the passed, because they've still got the same, scribbled in the ancient bible, views.

If he does in fact exist, then what's it matter if I worship him or not? Why should I waste my sunday in church to learn howto be a good person when common sense alone can teach me that? Why should my belief's decide if I goto heaven or hell despite me leading a decent life?

I've had some people tell me I'm going to hell because I don't believe in their god. I've actually lost a job once because I told a christian boss I didn't believe! Two days later... out I go. Does god teach this kind of behavior or can I rest easy knowing that old bat is going to hell for being so prejudice against my beliefs?

If you're asking me to rewrite and expound on the whole Bible and human history, to satisfy your requirements of an explaination, you're proving you don't want to understand but just spread more hate.

Your questions are explained in the 'whole text' of The Bible. Not a line here and there, but line upon line, command upon command, precept upon precept.
'Sound bite' answers are used to sell things, the resurrection to the perfect unending life God offers, is free, and so amazing it can't be wrapped up in a few posts.

How about you explain how, today, anti-Christians justify abortion, euthenasia, and a Global system that puts the basic human needs, and lives of poor people, way below the quality of life, pets of the wealthy are expected to enjoy?

Explain why those who, today, support and promote Eugenics aren't being demanded to answer these and many more question reguarding the exchange of justice for all, for the power and luxury of an elite few.
