SURPRISE!
"glitchy" Iowa Caucus app firm run by HRC campaign veterans.
Tech firm started by Clinton campaign veterans is linked to Iowa caucus reporting debacle
An app created by a tech firm run by veterans of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign is taking heat for the unprecedented delay in reporting Democratic caucus results from Iowa.
The firm behind the app reportedly is Shadow, an affiliate of ACRONYM, a Democratic nonprofit founded in 2017 “to educate, inspire, register, and mobilize voters,” according to its website. Shadow started out as Groundbase, a tech developer co-founded by Gerard Niemira and Krista Davis, who worked for the tech team on Clinton’s campaign for the 2016 Democratic nomination.

THAT IS HUGE! It was programmed to self-destruct if Bernie Sanders took a big lead?
...or if Biden came in 4th or 5th.
this did come out in someone's favor: Biden's. He was likely going to get bad headlines today for losing and Sanders or Warren was going to have good ones, and instead the headlines are all about the SNAFU.
Like the old saying goes, who benefited? That's where to start looking.
---------------------------------------
Yep - exactly.
The idea that the Democrats got bad reporting from a coding error in an app is totally ridiculous.
It would have been tested before being used.
They REFUSED the offer to have it tested beforehand.
I heard they refused to have DHS security test it... I'd say it was well tested by the Democrats and did exactly what they wanted it to do - but they got caught.
RNC should run an ad; 'if you liked the Democrat's Iowa Caucus, just wait til they run your health care!'

They can't seem to get anything right. It's embarrassing. They should just forfeit to Trump now and avoid further humiliation.

That's very totalitarian of you.
so they are now back to coin tosses which seems a bit arbitrary and then this
Caucus votes across Iowa on Monday night ended in coin tosses when results were too close to call.
so seems biden is picking up a few delegates via the coin toss method
katari-nah @katastrophism I was a precinct captain for #Bernie2020 in Waterloo, Iowa and we lost a delegate to Biden by a coin toss. This despite viable contingents of Yang and Warren voters who all preferred Bernie win the delegate over Biden. This process is already undemocratic and arbitrary, app or no

Where is the head of the DNC? Where is Little Tommy?

Mark Salter @MarkSalter55 texts from my caucus going brother in Bettendorf. Lol. It's really close. 44 bernie 44 Warren 39 Joe 37 Amy 34 Pete Joe up to 40 Waiting for final count everybody's trying to win over a handful of yang losers

For someone who claims to be an electronic progeny, you certainly know very little about electronic communications.
All IPs are logged, every time a web page is accessed. Anonymity is only because that information is not available to authorities, and those it is available to don't care. The technology exists for your IP to be logged the next time you visit IwannbeaDemocrat.com, that information together with the time stamp used to identify your ISP, and your ISP to identify who was using that IP at that time. Law enforcement could actually connect that to your social security number (or whatever you guys use there), your bank accounts, your credit information, your medical records... anything that is online.
Luckily, there are laws that prevent that from happening. But technologically, it's easily possible. So it's no biggie to determine where in a general area someone watching a stream is located. Even VPNs, if they were to make their records available, would be nothing more than a few extra steps in the identification process.

DES MOINES, Iowa (Reuters) - Iowa’s Democrats promised to begin to release long-delayed results on Tuesday afternoon from the party’s chaotic first voting in its process of picking a candidate to face Republican Donald Trump in November’s U.S. presidential election.

Supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders' White House bid and some Democratic National Committee members are frustrated with some initial appointments made by DNC Chairman Tom Perez to the crucial committees that will oversee the rules and party platform at this summer’s presidential nominating convention in Milwaukee, Wis. Their frustration comes after Perez named former Rep. Barney Frank of Massachusetts – who was a surrogate for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign -- as co-chair of the convention’s Rules Committee. And Perez picked John Podesta – who served as Clinton’s 2016 campaign manager – to have a seat on the committee.
