The most important thing about food is that you like eating it. its why I still swing by McDonalds from time to time. I know its not healthy, or that its not a 'real' hamburger. But i enjoy me a couple McDoubles from time to time.

As mentioned, I haven't eaten McDs in probably a decade. I used to love the regular cheeseburgers and double cheeseburgers. Hell, I remember when the doubles where on the dollar menu.

But as much as I loved "eating" them, I literally felt like #—nauseous—afterwards, which is why I stopped eating there.

Also a reason why I eat pork very, very sparingly: Just don't like how I feel afterwards.

Of course, the fact that I don't eat certain things often probably adds to my body's reaction to eating said things..

No beans.

According to your "recipe," there was not even chili powder.

I concur with a previous poster that it's nothing more than a meat sauce.

*shrugs*

Okay, boomer.

What are we ever gonna do with you millennials?

as a Texan I have to take offense at this being called "chili". But i bet it'd be good on some angel hair pasta with garlic bread.

I feel for DB here... Becuse I've felt shame about my bean usage in chili from time to time. And you and I have been down this road, and I understand it's almost tough love you have to scold me for it... And I actually appreciate that.

But rule number one about food, there are no rules.

Rule number two... this asshole made a long list of rules, and I have to agree with him.

I'm a native and cannot argue with that statement.

I'd be a very happy man (child) if one day I get the honor of holding dual citizenship.

Edit : half jesting everyone.

Smoked is how I prefer it, although, again, I rarely smoke it, or it eat it. When I smoke ribs, it's generally for others and I only eat 1-2. I don't eat much BBQ, but I do really like it. Our family has it as a Christmas tradition every year, and that, other than maybe the 4th or Memorial Day or something, is the only time I really eat it. Again, it just makes me feel really weird.
