He was just a boxer. Certainly to me me

To his family I'm sure he was much more but that's irrelevant. Athletes dying is not worth the threads in my opinion. Don't you have anything closer to home worth caring about?

You sure are spending a lot of time in a thread that according to you shouldn’t exist.

You haven't read Nietzsche?

Nietzsche ended up alone talking to his horse.

ETA: RIP Kobe.

Whether Kobe Bryant was a good guy, or whether he was a bad guy...he was a great athlete. We can call out his excesses, the helicopters and the like, but at the end of the day...we are all mortals.

Agreed. It’s all too sobering. Life is so fragile.

This just gutted me. I was at the Nuggets game today and my friend told me this news right before they made the announcement.

Whatever I thought about the man personally, I always really respected his game. Here's him shooting alone on the court after a loss to the Heat:

I'm just really sad. The NBA hasn't really seen a tragedy like this.

May Kobe and his daughter RIP and praying for his surviving family.

Guy at the ATM next to me walked up crying and told me, he was a dickhead in many ways on a personal level, however for every story where he didn't tip the wait staff on a yacht party to making contractors always look down there was 10 of him hanging out at fashion island getting ice cream with his kids. He was a good dad and one if the most professional athletes of any sport, ever.

He had pedo information on important people like Epstein and wasn't trusted anymore..

..so liberals had him killed too with a bomb installed at the airport.

The Clinton's released a statement over him passing away. Why would they do that?

That's how coverups work, there's always a cause of death and no one was at fault.

I talked to a guy at gas station wearing a Lakers 24 shirt. He was not happy at all. Could tell he was taking it hard, a younger black gentleman.

Kobe Bryant’s helicopter was like a limousine and had a strong safety record, NBA star’s former pilot says
www.latimes.com... t-said

I earlier read some talk about Kobe piloting this craft. Not likely.

Here are some words from Kobes past pilot of the same craft.

The helicopter that crashed Sunday morning in Calabasas, killing Kobe Bryant, his daughter and seven others on board, had the feel of a limousine and boasted a strong safety record, said the basketball star’s former pilot.
Kurt Deetz, a former pilot for Island Express Helicopters, told The Times he flew Bryant from 2014 to 2016. Nine times out of 10, he said, Bryant flew in “Two Echo X-ray” — the Sikorsky S-76B, tail No. N72EX, that went down Sunday morning. When Bryant retired from the NBA in 2016, he flew out of downtown Los Angeles in the same helicopter, wrapped in a gray-and-black paint scheme with his Mamba emblem on the side, Deetz said.
Deetz, who said he spent more than 1,000 hours flying the craft that crashed Sunday, called its condition “fantastic.” Island Express follows a “very good maintenance program,” he said. The helicopter was owned by Island Express, according to Deetz.

So, apparently just a horrible accident on a craft that usually had a great safety record.

When he flew Bryant, Deetz said, the star was quiet: “It was always, ‘Hey,’ thumbs up, or sometimes nothing at all. He kept to himself. He would get in, get out, and that was it. There was no hugging, no backslapping — he was very professional.”
Deetz recalled one flight, on Father’s Day in 2016: He was spending the day with his son when he got a call — could he fly Bryant to downtown Los Angeles? Deetz brought along his son, who sat with him up front. Bryant was with his daughters in the back. He spotted Deetz’s son: “He’s a very private guy,” Deetz recalled, “but he noticed my son there and he said, ‘Hey, little man.’ My son and I remembered that today.”

In terms of his ability on the court.
Kobe was without a doubt one of the top ten to twenty greatest players of all time.

The whole world is making statements I don't think you have a point. Here is their statement:

"Hillary and I are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and all those who died in today's helicopter crash. Kobe brought excitement and joy to basketball fans not just in Los Angeles, but all over the U.S. and around the world. He was also a leader off the court, including in his advocacy for young people, especially the vulnerable and homeless — a passion I saw firsthand when I joined him and Vanessa for the opening of a housing project they and their foundation supported. Kobe Bryant lived a very large life in a very short time. But above all, he loved his family. Our prayers are with Vanessa, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri, and all those who lost loved ones today," the Clintons said.

Doesn't seem to be any conspiracies on the crash just a troll who took over most of the thread. He died on the 26th during the 62nd Academy Awards on 2020 some duality in the dates right there. Born Philadelphia, PA died Calabasas, CA, more duality. In 211 days he would have turned 42 on a Sunday, his number was 24, he died on a Sunday. 8 other people died his other number was 8. That's all I got.

No I think he's on to something. Everything is centered around him specifically. Are the majority of these stories even naming the other eight?? If we're getting like three out of ten or less where it's not just mostly about Kobe, for me that's enough to warrant suspicion and motives for foul play.

It's like when Paul Walker and that reporter that broke the general peteaeus leak/cover-up adultery scandal died in a very similar fashion years back. Or that guy in Pennsylvania last year killed in a car bomb, first victim of one in America in decades and it's like "oh hey, whatever nothing to see here move along."

You want to ignore anomolies go ahead, but we should all see who Kobe was connected to using little sis and theyrule to map his corporate web through companies, their board members and how they relate to his businesses and investments. Political donations crossed referenced with any related charitable causes such as to elected officials and institutions in represented districts.

We can open source this bitch and get to the bottom of this mystery.

Yes, we're starting to get the other names. They're not going to release them all at once. They usually don't release them until the family is notified.
