There are currently 11,972 confirmed cases worldwide, including 259 fatalities.
My sons friend has received a message from the nurse he knows in Wuhan. She told him the whole city is infected. It’s everywhere and they cannot cope. She told him quite frankly that people are starving in their homes.

I have no real proof but I think it’s a lot higher than that. They’ve not shut these cities off for nothing.
Indeed it might well be. I’m just reporting what has been passed on. However, giving a normal TV interview does not mean you aren’t infected. You might simply not be symptomatic yet. I think the thrust of what she’s saying is that it is rife throughout Wuhan - far more so than we are being told. Worse, there is very little food in the city. Recipe for all kinds of issues I would think.

That is somewhat exaggerated. There are many people in Wuhan who give normal interviews to TV stations.

Just read that its now known that the Chinese government is restricting the use of testing kits to keep the numbers low. They're only issuing hospitals a certain number per day.
Seems many westerns dont understand why the numbers are so low...please read this thread if you are curious.
