Just re-read the thread and as far as I can tell the only person who mentioned her being a 'high class whore' was an American who was repeating some report he had read or watched.

I remember when I was a young teen I was talking with my 99 year old grandmother. I said something to her about a girl at school that everyone called a whore. She said something I will never forget. She said, "They are just mad that she is getting paid for what they are giving away for free."

I never forgot that and after meeting a high class escort that worked the Washington, DC circuit during the summer, allowing her to spend the rest of the year being a stay at home Mom caring for her children, I realized that for a lot of those women it is a just a job.

Women have moved up the ranks, obtained jobs, obtained roles, and have married based on sexual arrangements and agreement throughout history. I don't understand why there is still such a negative view of something that nearly everyone does, and receives some kind of compensation for it, even if it isn't tangible.

If you haven't watched King Charles III which started as a play and was then turned into a one off made for TV drama.....it's well worth your time.......talk about predicting the future......especially Harry.....

I've never really known what to make of all the media reports on Megan. I guess in my opinion she's had a lot of harsh stories aimed at her which were not necessary, however I do tend to believe she was nothing but a social climber hell bent on becoming a princess and more famous rather than anything else.

When you get involved with a Windsor you marry into the Royal Family and follow the code, you don't go into it and then decide you are going to do what you want to do. She knew what she was signing up for. IMO - She's seized the opportunity now to break away from living as British Royalty and wants to go back to North America to make bank from her gained title.

It's simple to me really. If they don't want the life and attention that comes from it they need to give up their titles and anything associated with it and go disappear overseas like the Queens uncle did.

I have never been one of those people who was really into the royals and all that. I did like Diana but I wasn't glued to the tv every time she was on the screen.

That having been said, I am truly sorry for the royal family right now, and for the UK in general. I know there are some who will deny my opinion on this, and that is okay. But I honestly feel that the people of the UK gave the newest royal couple a chance - and were bitterly disappointed in the way it turned out.

Every royal ceremony I can remember seeing was a demonstration in refined ceremony and tradition. Truly magnificent to behold. And I am not one who is particularly fascinated with all the royal publicity and such. But it really was amazing to see Diana's wedding. I think of that, then compare it to Megan...and I cant help but cringe. In no uncertain terms - that wedding was an embarrassment. It was a clown school on display for the entire world. And the cherry on top of the sundae was that blathering idiot preacher who simply wouldn't shut up. His rambling lunacy was an insult to sense and sensibility.

In short, that wedding made a complete mockery of royal tradition and ceremony. Had it not been so disrespectful and self-indulgent perhaps things would be different now. But that bell has been rung and it can not be undone. That, along with all the other varied unsavoury accusations are enough to sour even the most devout monarchist. And yes, I know there are those whom will never abandon the old ways regardless of who is representing them. And that is fine. But I do believe a great many have been so insulted that a rebuke is a certainty.

Why would the MSM want people to dislike Meghan? Could it be that veilled racism is a key component of dividing the UK right now (see: Brexit). The bias and blame attributed to Meghan should get any so-called conspiracy theorist going - the fact that recent events are being reffered to as Megxit is another clear example of laying blame. People forget that Harry was never as into the Royal way of life as his brother - he didn't give his son a Royal title, he has openly said that the press are going after his wife just like they did his mother.
