It may have less to do with her racial makeup and more to do with her past.

I think he's doing this for the right reasons. Besides, we don't know what work he will give up. I expect he'll retain some of the stuff he really believes in - Invictus Games, mental health and a few other causes. He'll still be a great ambassador.

Harry is not in the line of succession, so his value is where he can add value.

As to the OP. I don't think race has got anything to do with this, except in the obsessive minds of those who think it does.

Still 6th in line which as 2 to 5 travel together on a regular basis isn't really beyond realms of possibility.

I think some idiots hang up with race ( and other things) might have some part to with the decision. Why should they put up with the hassle.

Heh, she forgets that she doesn't have to like him. I'm pretty sure none of the royals like him, but when you are royalty, you have to behave differently than the Hollywood set do. You have to put on a good face for decorum's sake and then you can spew your dislikes in private.

In Hollywood, it's considered edgy to be openly disdainful and disrespectful.

I don't think she handled the culture adaption well and that's assuming she felt she needed to even try.

I think Meghan was under the impression that she would lead the life of a charmed “princess”.. and who knows ?.. maybe Harry helped sell that idea to her.. but I doubt it. He’s had far too much trouble with paparazzi and is probably honest enough to tell her royal life can often be a royal pain in the butt.

In the interview they did.. ( forget for what program).. they both bemoaned the thankless life of royal duty, the relentless pursuit of paparazzi and lack of privacy, as well as Meghan complaining that she did not feel supported by the Royal family.🙄

Spoiled adults who can now retire on their investments, acquired through the taxation of those with less.
I do hope they enjoy the time raising their young son and any other children they may have. Harry didn’t ask to be born a royal and neither will his children and they still deserve love. Unfortunately they will see an unrealistic picture of life with a silver spoon in their mouths like many other royals before them.. but they are human and still need love. ( no.. I don’t believe they are reptilian)
