I don't think iran is dumb enough to nuke anyone.

Though I do agree that they most likely have themselves or have access to nukes.

Exactly ZERO people have gone the other way.

Not true.

I personally know 2 repub that switched to dem because of trump.

I don't personally know a single dem that switched to repub so that must mean that none have done so at all right?

I also know 2 none voters that will be voting dem in 2020.

Indeed, no matter how much one wants to spin it, reality is if everyone has a firearm, safety becomes sporadic, relative to who has a gun and is willing to use it.

Guns or no guns safety is relative. Guns are the great equalizer.

Did you know that more children were killed by accident in the US last year due to improperly stored firearms than were murdered in the UK including all terrorist attacks combined?

More children in the US were killed accidentally with guns by other children than cops were killed on duty including both accidents and cop killings?

The problem with guns isn't just crime. No amount of guns will protect your kids from an improperly stored gun, especially when that gun is your own. The gun that is most likely to hurt your family is the one that you buy to protect them.

That isn't the fault of guns that is a responsibility problem. Parents need to take responsibility for properly storing firearms as well as properly training children on how to handle firearms when they are old enough.

Think of the children isn't a reason to take away rights. It is our responsibility to make sure our children have the same rights as us when they grow up. The right to keep and bear arms is the right that guarantees all other rights.

I don't consider myself liberal beyond that I'm a left-leaning Libertarian, but I can say that for everyone I know who is big L liberal, no, not on that by itself, many would want a little more movement toward the fekking middle ground than just a token military measure that could change at any point in time with the right threat to rile up the masses with --- people forget how effective 9/11 truly was in being a rallying point for all sides.

He'd have to sweeten the deal with not just a pullback of the troops and closure of bases, but also a firm focus on infrastructure, healthcare, education and industry (i.e jobs) in the US. It's a package deal, not a piecemeal deal. Nobody will settle for just military pulling back to "like" him a little.

So, Liberals, if Trump would actually, and could actually, end our nation-building-mass destruction-loving-military-industrial-complex-terrorist-making-cilvilian-collateral-damaging effed-up foreign policy of the last 50-yrs…would you support him in that endeavor?

I was a liberal once. Thought I could accept people based on the mask they wore. Turns out being two-faced and self-centered has no place for me.

It took self reflection to find that out.

Think of the children in these countries, Nyiah.

Anyhoo, that's my OTHER big point: Trump is ready to redo the infrastructure. That's a very Democrat thing to do...except the democrats won't do anything because of their spite. Tsk-tsk.

It's another reason he's commonsense about getting our troops home: He wants to spend money here rather than frittering it away through war and foreign aid everywhere else.

Also, haven't you noticed that he's the only one in forever who is making things better for our minority communities?

No matter if he does one good thing, he and the conservatives are still raping our country.Get it?

Meanwhile; the Democrats (as expert liars) are promising buckets of end of the rainbow gold, manna from heaven and anything else they can rob/steal from those that actually innovate and create livelihoods. This in order to keep their constituency enslaved in a cycle of poverty/hopelessness and despair. I'm voting for that party to run my life! just so they can stay in power and continue to enrich themselves. Would I rather be raped or enslaved? How about double the fun. Have both happen at the same time since there seem to be no alternative choices (ideal living in a 12'x12' Kaczynski cabin in the far yonder wilderness).

Sarcasm aside, it has happened ... at the Congressional level. Jeff Van Drew [NJ-D] is now Jeff Van Drew [NJ-R].

As it is I am already planning on voting for him because the left is anti 2nd amendment, but I don't like him and voting for him is just choosing the lesser evil.

Nope, not according to Daily Kos. They've surrendered the issue: Everyone out there gets to keep their guns, and we get our bi-weekly massacre.

"There is physical evidence that our election results were tampered with in 2016."

I haven't seen that evidence. Would you please share it with me?

You mean it hasn't been mentioned here at ATS?

UPDATE: To start with, the Mueller Report.

www.nytimes.com...

You should also search ATS about North Carolina, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Ohio, as they were all compromised.

Liberals would only support Trump

But there is no war. It's just one of the usual tens of thousand of bombs Obama dropped.

Gut, I'd say to use this one as a barometer. She is as down with the sickness as any of them. She would be angry at Trump for curing cancer. Taking away money from innocent doctors.

Yeah. These days I usually just drop in and lurk for giggles if there's a topic I know will 'splode the 4 or 5 'splodey heads here still willing to take a logic beating but still too dense to grasp that they are. It's become a form of mild entertainment.

But I thought I'd give this thread concept a try because I've just experienced a "Wow" moment in my own household.

A CNN captive--whom I love very much anyway lol--finally and on their own got a good whiff of the flaming hypocrisy & propaganda while watching coverage of Soleiman's last dance. An innocent soul who just got their first look at MSM evil and was rather shocked. Enough so it made them rethink the last few years. A true lightbulb-moment and we stayed up late. Good talk.

great story. I have several who have yet to put down the kool aid glass of CNN. Good people, but seem to really enjoy the hate. I smile and tell them, they will have to suffer through 4 more years of prosperity, sorry.

I would gladly put aside my distaste for the man if he performed his duties as you describe. With that said, I've seen how he made his money and how he spends it.

I'm glad Deep Throat didn't come to YOU and say, "Follow the money," because Nixon would never have been brought down.

I said that that was the START of the trail. You're old enough to figure out the rest. I think.
