I am not declaring a public health emergency of international concern today.

As it was yesterday, the Emergency Committee was divided over whether the outbreak of novel coronavirus represents a PHEIC or not.

Make no mistake. This is an emergency in China, but it has not yet become a global health emergency. It may yet become one.

WHO’s risk assessment is that the outbreak is a very high risk in China, and a high risk regionally and globally.

I guess the death toll has to climb outside of China.

Does anybody know the true incubation period of this virus? I have see everywhere from 2-4 days, to 10 days to 2 weeks. That will play a large role in seeing how far this thing spreads and how fast. If it really is close to 2 weeks then I pray it is not already too late, and this thing is already all over the entire planet.

I heard 2 weeks.

Imagine if this thing becomes 'full-blown' in the US by October/November 2020...taking older voters first...and keeping people away from polling places.

FISA Court / DoJ just declassified a document from earlier this month. AT LEAST 2 of the Carter Page FISA warrants have just been deemed illegal / illegitimate by the Court. Seeing how the predication is supposed to get stronger and not weaker as the warrants go along, I think it is safe to say that all 4 are complete trash....but we all already knew that, didnt we?

Right Guys .. stop panicking.. body temp is 37 degrees celsius. Any flu like symptoms raises temperature by 2 to 3 degrees. if you go past 4 degrees your in trouble. THAT'S why they are taking temperature's at airports. WHO ( world health orginisation) know how to restrain these outbreaks....they have learnt from the past.. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DIE

What good does taking temps at the airport do...when a two week incubation period is involved?

According to CDC:

CDC believes at this time that symptoms of 2019-nCoV may appear in as few as 2 days or as long as 14 after exposure. This is based on what has been seen previously as the incubation period of MERS viruses.

Prior to the Airports being shutdown. IT is probably already here, incubating. I believe Wuhan climate is similar to the Pacific NW & Northeast, minus the snowfall.

I think they don't know enough because China is just not forthcoming. So, yeah, they need to see what happens now that it's beyond China's borders and other countries with less interest in saving face have cases on their hands can take a shot at it. Those places will be more open and more invested in collaborating.

The problem remains the open, supperating sh!tsore that is China and it's unwillingness to admit what's going on.

ALL flights/passengers entering the US...originating in China...need to be denied access.
