Bill and Melinda Gates want to tattoo vaccine information to your kids

The Gates are at it again, now they would like to tattoo everybody with under the skin invisible QR Code tattoos, in order to see if you're vaccinated and which vaccinations you have and when you got them. Plus who knows what other information.

It's kinda reminiscent of 1984, in that the technology can be abused. But it's possible it could save lives, if important medical information can be permanently imprinted on you, especially for diabetics or people with incurable diseases or even your blood type if you need blood.

But imagine a world, where you're not allowed to get a mortgage, car loan... insurance even, without having been tattoo'd. Without having the mark of what the Bible might call, 'the beast.'

As usual, the path to hell is paved with good intentions.
My only real concern at this point, is that the tattoo is made up on nano sized crystals and sugar, we're all well aware sugar makes you sick and dumb over time, prevents learning and regular cognition skills. As recorded here by National Geographic

Who knows what kind of pseudo science that we're not yet aware of, that can be done with nano crystals. Kill switch anyone?

The article says that they want to do this in the developing world where it's far harder to track who has which vaccines and when they got them... Which is important, because some vaccines have to be given in phases.

This is been the big struggle in eradicating some diseases, because there are some very remote places in 3rd world where there's not even a good system of keeping track of who's born, and having proper identification for down the road.

We have the same systems here in the first world, it's just handled better through our health care providers.

As far as invasion of privacy, we voluntarily give up much more than just our vaccines. We have smart phones and devices that keep track of all our online habits, locations, contacts, ect... People have been doing DNA tests and letting a private and loosely regulated company hold onto the results, many of us unsure of how that industry will evolve. Most people in the western world even have online profiles where they upload pictures to the same companies that are innovating the next wave of facial recognition software. Even if you don't have those online profiles, you've likely gone to a grocery store where they have cameras pointed at checkout ready to match your face with credit/debitcard transaction so the cameras up top will be able to ID you later.

Personally, this is small potatoes to me in the ever changing environment of "privacy".

Gates is insane. He's among the OCD tech loons who want everything scanned, chipped, tagged, and deposited into a database. It's much, much more than just health tracking.

This thread is about things coming to the developing world. We've already been far past this threshold for some time.

I am sure they will convince many people because of …. reasons...

As a guy that loves to read up on history its a rather horrifying approach, especially considering how so many people view the rural folks in third world nations.

I've talked to medical people who've worked in third world countries, and they've told me the improvements being made are staggering. The vaccines are being monitored and tracked. It's standard operating procedure.
Granted, it's not as advanced as our more "modern" western practices, and I'm sure it varies from place to place.

I saw the OP as a chance to point out what I see as Gates' more sinister motives, masquerading as altruism. (But then, I'm a conspiracy theorist through and through)

We live in a time where there are only a few degrees of separation between every human on the planet. Someone from a rural part of a 3rd world country could go to the market and interact with someone going on an international flight, and the whole world essentially gets exposed within 24 hours.

At some point, if we're serious about the civilized worlds' health security, we're going to have to focus on the third world.

Many experts believe a pandemic is still the number one risk to humanity.

What are the more sinister motives?

If there is one, I imagine it has to do with money, and like many billionaire foundations, the stockpiling of it against taxes.

Personally, I think we (civilized world) should be concerned about privacy practices... I just don't think the Gates foundation is where we should be wary.

Sorry, but the State, which has done such a bang up job of getting things totally wrong when it comes to health - just look at the ridiculous, horrific damage they have done through things like the government sponsored/approved food pyramid that the FDA, AHA and other governmental orgs have promoted that are the cause of the obesity/diabetes/everything-else epidemic in this country - is the very last place I'll look to for anything authoritative in that area.

I'm pretty far removed from public education. It's been some time since I've been there, and I find my own information from a variety of sources while trying to identify the bias of said sources and weigh that in my conclusion after.

Sorry, but the State, which has done such a bang up job of getting things totally wrong when it comes to health - just look at the ridiculous, horrific damage they have done through things like the government sponsored/approved food pyramid that the FDA, AHA and other governmental orgs have promoted that are the cause of the obesity/diabetes/everything-else epidemic in this country.

Well the Gates foundation is private. I'd agree with the food pyramid, though that was the US department of agriculture who released it with the sole interest of making sure Americans ate our most bountiful cash crops (wheat and corn).

I'm all for healthy skeptism, but I think we have bigger fish to fry in the developed world than the Gates Foundation's activities in the developing world.

I outlined what I think are bigger concerns in my first post of the thread.

Than don't go to Africa and get a tattoo for vaccines lol.

I'd be more worried about smart phones and other internet connected divices with mics, online social profiles, genetic information farming practices, ect.

The more sinister motives of Gates? I could go on all day about the greed of Gates as Microsoft's CEO. With Gates, it's actually a pathology.

His foundation is very charitible now, but to quote Saint Augustine:

I wonder how many more people die from diseased they could have been vaccinated against vs people who died from vaccines.

While overall I dont dispute what you say, I also cant help but wonder how far removed are we from someone deciding it would be cheaper to get rid of those without the tattoo rather than spend the money to educate and bring them up to first world levels. 'with an added bonus of lots of land suddenly available for corporations, or the ultra rich.

Your only 'real' concern is that the tattoo is made up of NANO sized sugar crystals?
For real? Unless thats a 60 pound(average annual consumption) nano sugar crystal tattoo I'd think they'll be fine.

But otherwise, yeah that Gates set for world domination by helping the most underprivileged people in the world.
