In general today, Canada is full of Trump jokes and memes. The majority of Canadians don't have a favourable opinion of Donald Trump.

I don't think Trump will be convicted, but I do think an underlying reason he was impeached is because he's just a social buffoon and puts American politics in a bad light, despite the fact that he represents a bigger issue for everyday Americans.

What's the Trump chatter in your country?

I will not say the country where I am from but it is certainly not classed as the "West" the average IQ is is one of the worlds highest, basically most people Like Trump and they see BS when it is in front of them.

The general consensus is that certain aspect of the political elite within the US would rather be in power and have a failing country than just do what they are paid to do and make the country better for it's citizens and listen to all angles not just push their own agenda.

Most believe the US should be in a far better position than it found it's self in after decades of War and false promises having it's industry sold down the river.

Fact is most folks across the world are influenced by their media and their own opinion will a line with how much MSM they choose to consume and believe. Lets not forget that in some locations showing support for Trump the "elected" president will have you labeled as a Nazi...

Regards

That is my opinion anyway of what I hear in conversation.

I can't speak for all Germans but the majority either laughs at him or shows concern or both. Those who cheer him are on the side of the nationalists, climate deniers, populists and crooks. No wonder Putin is happy about Trump. I personally believe that he is only a temporary phenomenon, an anomaly, and that something like normality will return after him. He should bankrupt casinos and make television, but please no politics.

What a well thought out response to my shoddily constructed thread! Thank you.

Your country sounds thoughtful.

I was definitely shocked when a reality TV villain was elected President of the United States! This is about the same opinion as Canada.

Here in Canada, I have come to realize months ago that anyone who opposes Trump within my companies organization, or my friends "general" circle/social environment are brainwashed, unintelligent and do not think for themselves.

They all LOVE socialism and even the idea of communism. They fully support all things wrong. They listen to everything CNN, CBC, ABC etc says. They do not do their own research - They just say they do and when you ask them a specific question on the topics, they dance around it with no real answer and a basic "I don't know, but this is what I believe".

I hate living in Canada. This Country is full of morons, commies and these people are soooo deep into this whole social media world that they think they can just "be virtuous" online by supporting whatever the mob supports, however they act like a complete r-tard in real life and lack all common sense and critical thinking.

Most of them don't even know the real facts of the impeachment process. Many actually thought that Trump was going to be removed from office today, yet to their surprise, he was not, as this still needs to go to the senate.

That is how ignorant these people are.

I think you might want to look into relocating if you feel that strongly. Canada is essentially a socialist country, I don't think that will change any time soon. But, you should be entitled to your own opinion.

How can Canada survive with all these unintelligent people? And be such a rich country at the same time? So all your scientists, the professors and scholars are trump fans?

I have been seriously thinking of relocating to the USA, mainly in the Texas region, but I'm still waiting to see how this Democrat sh%t plays out. They seem to be ruining every state and attempting the most absurd agendas, like removing/banning assault style weapons.

My other thought was somewhere overseas, but every Country is going complete socialist/Communist or is in a great upheaval from political corruption and/or war.

So I might as well sit here and wait for the Po-Po to come attempt to grab my "Assault style" weapons when Turdeau's incompetent government tries to ban them. Which they are working on - Along with handguns.

The elders are much more intelligent than today's age range of 12-30. Once all of these "scientists" and professors are too old to continue, we're going to be in deep trouble.

Here in Denmark.. People are being brainwashed by the anti Trump media.. the media here does NOT like Trump but show it in a subtle way and is very selective by the news they bring. And every time someone accuses Trump of something it is brought to everyone's attention. They portray him as evil and full of dirty secrets.

But there are some here that believe the media just hate him because he have put those news reporters in place on live cam before. And because he is not as pretty as Obama and its more public correct to have a black or female person in charge now a days.

I too am from Canada and from the people I talk American politics with it’s about a 50/50 split for and against him.

Some clearly see the good Trump has done for the US.. also what he’s tried to do but has been stonewalled.
I think he clearly cares about LEO’s, military, vets and seems to be the most patriotic president I’ve seen in a long time. Yes, he has an ego problem but that just may be what is driving him to keep as many campaign promises as possible. The man and his family have put up with so much negativity from the press and dems and their followers, not too mention every other nobody who feels they can judge him. He and his family have stood up incredibly well to this constant onslaught of negative judgement.

As for the ones I talk to that dislike him ?... they are usually shallow reasons and much more to do with wanting to follow a crowd than having a critical thinking political opinion. All of the people I talk to have no greater reason than they basically don’t like his personality.. which to me is a lame excuse.

I don't know anyone who hates Trump. Only his followers talk about hate. Most people don't like him because he lies, because he is ignorant, because he incites his followers, because he has no manners, because he is not a role model, not a leader, just an egomaniac. In this time the world needs empathic and responsible leaders.

YES!

These people just follow crowds because they feel like they are doing something good as the majority is doing it, so they must too. Just to be a part of it! They don't actually care about the situation or issue. They just want to be noticed being "Virtuous" - Which they are far from it.

I hope one day they follow the crowd off a deep, forever falling cliff.

In the US the Trump chatter breaks 2 ways. The first is the Leftist Main Stream Media (MSM) view that he's a monster and needs to be gone. But the flip side view is that the MSM itself is just a tool of the Democrats, George Soros, and the NWO types. Therefore anything they say on Trump is just nonsense. They have no credibility. It's butt hurt Democrats, Commielibs, and etc freaking out on the thought that they may just be a shrinking minority that's sliding into the dustbin of history.

The more they REEEEEE the worse they look.

My experience is that the people of New Zealand and Australia are divided about Trump.

In general, though, we are aware that he also asked China and Australia to investigate into his political opponents after he got into trouble over the 'phone call.

In general, he appears to using his position to maintain his position and I think that many are disquieted by that. Oh, and he has also said some really dumb things and some rather nasty things publicly and he stretches the truth a lot. It's like he has no filter.

But that could be just me viewing the opinions of others through my worldview.

Not everyone is really into foreign politics enough to care to see past his personality I suppose. I can see how someone with no interest in politics and only seeing his tweets, news coverage, etc. would never support him, in Canada anyways, with our social mores.

As soon as the "grab her by the *****" quote came out, I think he instantly became a presidential meme here. An upgrade from the "you're fired" meme, surely, but then he just didn't stop saying insane things, and people ran with it, and it's overshadowed anything good he's done, at least where I'm at.
