Hie Shaye !
Will agree with you that it is wonderful to listen to many different stories, or ideas, or whatever.

Ha Pi Nu Yir, and cheers !

? Never said anything about listening to different stories, ideas, or whatever. I’m just into spending time with hasbeens and whateverbeens because they seem to be the ones with the least to lose if they are honest.😆

Ha Pi Nu Yir to you as well.

Yesterday's sewer pipe back-up in the basement was resolved lightning-fast. We called the emergency maintenance number, left a message detailing the issue, and a few minutes later, hubs got a call back from the maintenance guy to confirm what he said.

That kind of plumbing issue is not usually something maintenance can do on their own, so he said he was going to call the plumbing company they use and to expect a confirmation call from the plumber within half an hour. That call came about 10 minutes later, lol. And the plumber was here about 30 minutes after that. All things considered, between the first call to the maintenance guy, the pipe being cleared, the mess cleaned up & chemically sanitized, and the plumber leaving, it only took a little over 2 hours.

I have no idea what kind of sanitizing agent he used down there but hot dang, that smells "clean laundry" fresh down there still! The last time this was done, the sanitizing chemicals they used smelled very...chemical-y. This just plain smells pleasantly clean.

Good Day Sheddites!

Didn't get much sleep last night and Kya kitty has been in an early bird mode and waking up Momma. Good Lord, in some other parts of the world, my sleeping patterns would be normal. But, noooo, I have to be wide awake at night and sleep part of the day away. Shrugs shoulders. I never said I was normal. LOL I guess cats make good alarm clocks.

Now, come along, There is a fresh pot of coffee brewing and goodies to snack on. It will be the first official coffee party. We have tea parties, why not coffee parties?

Dear not normal person,

I hope that you have a day of rest and enjoyment and perhaps more coffee.

I'm off to get another cup of coffee after spending my life filling out too much paperwork for the pain doctor. It seems that seeing a pain doctor can be a criminal offense if done incorrectly due to the potential prescription drugs involved. Some of the paperwork I left blank as I don't feel comfortable signing something without an explanation first. Wish I had a lawyer I could take with me to to appointment to translate for me.

Dear people of the realm. True love goes to work today so I'm opening my abode for a party.

Here it is the 7th of January, so my one day for a bit of fun for myself and I would like nothing better to invite the sheddites for some cake.

And some games.

Bring yer own grog because I'm a tight ass and I can't get to the bottle'o' today. I like any kind of beer.

Kind regards,

Bally@62

I'll be there in spirit with you, my friend.

Looking at how much of Australia is burning makes me cry.

Sometimes they have tricky questions. Best to ask if you don't understand. I had a pain management Doc once and I had to get needles in my back and hips for weeks. GAH!

Happy Birthday Bally.... hope you have a great year and all goes well in rebuilding your exterior buildings.

I must admit my admiration for you grew leaps and bounds in the last year, and I was blown away that you saved your home from a burning fire singlehandedly.

I brought you a present and it is an assortment.. hopefully there will be a few that you care for.

Many happy returns of the day !
ETA: ( hiccup).. drank a few just to see if they were good. ☺️

ETA2: I feel bad for drinking some of your presents.. so I’m also gifting you with this little fur ball.

Thank you Sheye,

I'm drinking copious amounts at present.

Apart from my chooks, dogs and geese, I have 2 fur balls of my own. Another one would be excellent.

Cheers Star,

I got up at 5.30am, now it's 12.30pm. Truey is bringing a feed home tonight from work but I can feel a 'technicolor yawn' coming on.

That will get me in the mood for more festivities. On a better note, rain clouds up my end are looming.

Kind regards,

Bally and grogs.
