Asked for more rain songs, went to bed, woke up, it is raining in South Australia!

More of a drizzle but still, the ground ... she is a wetted, she is.

Only one fire I think on Kangaroo Island, they all joined together!

Great, just damn great, I wake up to the basement drain all backed up. It's joined with the outgoing kitchen line & outgoing sewer line somewhere under the front yard, so allllll kinds of gross immediately around the drain hole, ewwwww.
I suppose I should count my blessings, it's limited to being a smelly, gross trail a few inches wide and running to the sump pump. I'm not looking too forward to bleach-washing the floor and pushing bleach water to that & thus out to that little corner of the back yard it drains to, but oh well, can't exactly move it.

I guess it's time to dig up the number for the emergency maintenance guy, since the office is closed on Sundays. Hubs is going to be less than thrilled, he called off work today because he's feeling pretty under-the-weather. it's probably tree roots again, so it's not going to take them long to clear the line (BTDT twice already now with the same culprit)

Especially for those souls in Australia suffering from raging fires, and for those doing their best to protect them and stop the fires.

I see that some Rain is falling on Parts of Australia! That is Great!! I hope They get the Rain They need to douse All the Fires there!!!

Hello all you lovely people!

Got my coffee and was just peering out the window. Saw a cool orange cloud against an otherwise grey sky. A cute little squirrel was scurrying along the branches of a tall, bare tree.




And in the Shedlands a Summer faery was discovered curled up on the branch of a huge fir tree shivering from the cold. Night and Pesky took her inside to the sun room. "Why were you amongst the Winter faeries?" asked Night. The Summer faery looked up bewildered.
" I wanted to see how the Winter faeries lived. It is cold and grey and dreary, yet...yet, the Winter faeries are all laughing and dancing in the glittering snow. They slide down mounds of snow with glee. Their songs are joyful." She pondered for a moment. "These faeries are so alive in the cold dark months of Winter and I am in awe."

Pesky grinned. "So now what? You didn't migrate when you were supposed to and you won't survive out there all Winter. I guess we'll have to keep you."
Night smiled warmly. "You can stay with us little one."
They showed her around the Shed and the most magical of things occurred. When they arrived in the living room, there were flowers and vines growing around the windows. They could even feel a warm and gentle breeze.

Night and Pesky looked at each other and smiled. The Elf settled in a comfy chair by the window. "This should be an interesting Winter."
Pesky went to make hot cocoa for them and all was well.

It is with much regret that I inform everyone here at the Shed that I failed to honor a national holiday yesterday.

I am pleading ignorance as I did not see this holiday posted on my calendar. Internet searches provided the facts to me but that came a day late for proper celebration.

The holiday in question is NATIONAL SPAGHETTI DAY, Jan 04, 2020.

I hope that no one who is reading this will be offended or triggered by my grave error.

Damned Chinese made calendars anyway... Sheesh!

Ignorance is bliss for some things, but when it involves Missing Spaghetti Day and similar Holidays, it is hell!
I'm going to do some internet searches soon to find out ahead of time when National Baked Beans Spam Spam and Spam is this year, so I don't miss that one! Not sure if I could go on if I missed it!!

The failed calendar I was relying on is a heath insurance one. I'm hoping that it was just an error and they don't think that spaghetti with cheese, plenty of meatballs, sauce, and more cheese is bad for a person?

Not sure what's going on but I still see only 12 18 2019 for join dates for everyone, including myself. Also that's the date I get for everything in My inbox! The worst is that I cannot click Flags. Stars are clickable, but not flags. Go figure.

I feel bad as I have been reading some Story Contest entries and wanna Flag them. nope. As soon as My cursor goes over the flag I get "remove your flag from this thread" Kind of hard to do when I can't even click on them!?! I gave Stars for now...

LOL THAT!!! Tell Heath Yer gonna drop them as an insurance carrier unless they get there chit together and fix their calendars! Let em know missing things like National Spaghetti Day and the like would be way worse than them Missing Their own Wifes and kids Birthdays!

Thanks for the advice, but it's my mom's insurance, not mine. However I have made here aware of the tragedy. So if you read a story about a crazed sniper senior citizen lady shooting up a insurance company that would be her.

Yah something's off that's for sure. I mean most will say that I'M OFF, but this is different. Also whatever has a hold of My system might be what has been eating My PassWords too!? I'll have to take this one over to the Tech section. Maybe someone will know what the heck's goin' on... Oh I'll have to keep an eye open to look for Your Mom totin' Barrels towards the insurance company. I'm gonna start carrying around an instant bullet proof vest! You know the kind that usually works like pulling a bad guy into the path of oncoming bullets? Is like that, only it doesn't use people. A BackPack full of Snipes works really well!
