HELLOOO

Where is every one? Did the Easter Bunny get ya?
No one around the fire.

I guess I'll just, roast my hot dogs me self and make "Snobroed" that's a Danish campfire thing,
Tell me self stories and raise my glass a few times.

Finally weekend. These days I am extremely gratefull to have a good job, one I like too.
As are all of us there as far as I can tell.
We don't have the problems they have in many health care facilities where people are trying to collect un-employment.

Every one is going the extra mile, with a smile and good cheers.
Toodles.

I relented and let her back in,
Admit it you need direction.

but I had to use 3 full bottles of sanitiser to cover every inch of her....
Now that could have been worded in a more clever way, such as "I had to use a full barrel of sanitizer"
That would have brought on this reply: "You aren't supposed to put her IN the solution".

I still can't find the pun in the original, it drives me nuts. I think mine is better though.

I have a Dishwasher! (Her name's Chrissie!!!
It's OK, I can see how you are totally over compensating for your absolute adoration for this fabulous being who has made your life a place worth living.
You need to maintain some degree of "male" integrity and that is good "we" understand.

On a serious note, all four of you are my heroes. You all make me happy, even when it is sad.

Why does spell check not accept "sanitize" plural? Stupid

Nota Bene. Night and I have your credit card. We will pay the interest back in pixie dust.

'ello Love!
Ready for that shopping spree? I hear there are new quaint shops opening in the village. We can start there. Then, we can have lunch at that place where you can be seated outside in a garden. We'll have a few drinks and then we can pester the boys.

Hi good people of the shed,

Easter regards to you all. Bit perplexed at a reply that I got on an OP. Something to do with preferences of cheese. I mentioned that I'm baking bread and cooking many different jerky flavors but without cheese. Noted and I said perhaps I may include cheese in my recipe's.

Well, you all know me on this site and I shy away from being rude or making comments that may be determined as derogatory or possibly hurt ones feelings.

The reply I got made me feel like a dill. And hence back to lurking. Are these days of boredom and isolation making people rude. I know, certainly not in the shed. We have dealt with that before. But why, on ATS can one not put up a simple innocent post without being ridiculed nowadays. Is it just the isolation?

Shakes head. Maybe it's just me.

My thoughts,

Bally

I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing on another site yesterday.
The FEROCITY and BITTERNESS in some replies to a very light-hearted and silly post was hard to fathom for me. Fortunately, the admins told the snowflakes to lighten up and just ignore posts that they didn't get/like/see the humour in.

I've had a look at what I believe is the post that you are referring to, and..... it seems to have been "edited" now, so it looks like someone may have regretted posting whatever upset you, meaning.... NO - it's not just you!

Thanks cobber,

I was of the thought I'm the 'snowflake' not accepting the reply. I'm breaking the first of my 3 rules i.e. adapt. Won't change me though. I'll just be nice to those that matter.

My regards,

Bally

I am currently listening to one of my favourite artists now passed, whose Birthday would have been on Saturday...

Founder member of The Skids, Big Country and The Raphaels... Stuart Adamson.

In reverse order...

IMO Stuart Adamson.

Morning Bally, best Easter regards to you and yours too.

No it is not only you, I have noticed an uptick in general rudeness it is a sad state of affairs. I just stay in here, literally, RL is pretty much the same too.

Well now I want some cheese, a good locally made German brick would do the trick, on
(the cat just smacked into the window, turned around calmly and looked at me as if to say "I did that on purpose")
toast with a dab of orange marmalade.

We have the last winter storm blowing today, it's all good and fortunately I have the day off.

You and yours take care down there.

That was smashing. I think the "Old" Stuart is a new favorite of mine.

Jeez, the 80's with enormous shoulder pads and HAIR. I remember it. He seemed to have a "Bowie" thing going on? No?
Oh how sweet he is in The Skids, jumping around like a puppy chasing his tail, so cute.

Thanks, great to tunes with my first pot of tea.

Oh Oh Oh great little snippet with the boys, were those onions?

then we can pester the boys.
Can we start with pestering the boys, that always gives me an appetite.
But before food..

We'll have a few drinks
Yes because we need a little cocktail before we eat.

Then, we can have lunch at that place where you can be seated outside in a garden.
That sounds good but how about this? I'll have the pixies set it up somewhere nice in The Shed, aye?

Ready for that shopping spree? I hear there are new quaint shops opening in the village.

I am in. I haven't been to The Shed village, yet.
We could pick up some magical trinkets and I have heard there is a "Brand New BOY Repellent" in stock some where. We should try it out. They, the boys, turn pink when they are naughty.

Uhhh, there is a dress that changes color with your mood, a fairy shop may have one.

Or we could fly a dragon to the Plains of the Unicorns and take a ride.

Morning All

Hi DOE
What are fruit snacks and how big were those pouches?
I thought fruit was just fruit, do they add colour?
Why do they put crap in everything.

Any who, I hope you slept.
I see baby is crawling, does she "nose dive" still?
Hope you are well and cozy.

You are most welcome, he/they have a HUGE back catalogue of great songs for you to explore!

Yes, we always think it best to give them Easter Onions, rather than chocolate....
Actually, we usually hard-boil real eggs and go find a steep hill somewhere... BUT with the lockdown... I came up with a cunning plan to roll their CHOCOLATE EGGS down the stairs instead!
My boys were "savvy" to the possibility of losing some chocolate if the eggs broke up too fast, soooo... they wrapped their chocolate eggs in food/freezer bags to catch any crumbs!!!!! Smart cookies. I just went with the naked egg in its foil wrapper! (Have you seen that movie? No, hang on...

Hello... I can't explain how i feel.

But it is not a bad feeling. I went to meet my friend and his new girlfriend. My best friend was there too. Yes i know i should be distancing socially but keep me inside 4 walls for days and days in a row and i will go even more insane than i am to begin with.

I drank some homemade apple wine and got some of it here at home now.

I sat on the bed in between of two women. American Pit bulls. They look like murderers but the only danger always is, that you will get a huge tongue licking your face continuously. Now they were tired. They had been on a summer cottage whole easter and had ran freely. They obey, they will not run away. Absolutely adorable creatures. I am a 100% cat person but dogs can be lovely too. These are.

My respect to the strong ladies and strong gentlemen of the Shed. That means all of you Shed people. All of you seem to stand tall and proud during these strange times, and that means more to me than my words could ever explain.
edit on 13-4-2020 by Finspiracy because: strange typo. i don't mess up the plurals often. sorry.

"Fruit snacks" are tasty little gummy, sugary things that are are basically candy, but stamped into the shape of and flavored with fruit (some manufacturers use natural flavoring, others artificial). These "fruit snacks" masquerade as legitimate foodstuffs in the sack lunches of elementary school children.

My wife ordered a big box of them to have something to stuff into easter eggs yesterday. I was offered one pouch, and, in my typical Jekyl/Hyde fashion, went into sugarbinge mode. Fruit snacks: one pouch is too many, a hundred isn't enough. I was up late, twitching, but am in recovery currently.
