The girls run alongside it. It's a one person thing.

I know it is, but you have a tendency to "adapt" things.

Oh Bug you put little happy grateful tears in my eyes with your exuberance. That is the Bug I love and have missed for so long.
I think perhaps it starts with "wishing", it may never happen but the intent can fill our hearts with hope.
And as far as I am concerned we are together. So many of the Shed Folk rest in my soul, so many I will always carry with me.
Words spoken, laughs shared, tears wiped and hearts comforted.

It's nice to see Gail back in the shed (...or is it "weekend Tom" again? LOL) We missed you!

Here at Castle Gordi, we've been trying to keep ourselves busy: doing jobs around the house, gardening, painting the sheds & fences...
The place is actually starting to look pretty good!

A Shed gathering is a wonderful thing.
You just have to MAKE IT HAPPEN.
Someone needs to take the lead on it... then work out who is interested, and which peeps live close enough together (or are willing to travel far enough) to make it happen.
Choose a location that's reachable for the majority of them, and agree on a date(s) (once all this current mess is over!!)
You will NOT be able to satisfy everyone's wishes. Some will be too far away, won't be able to travel, won't have the funds available etc but you have to focus on what CAN be done.
Who CAN practicably meet up?
Where CAN at least some of us meet up?
When CAN it happen?
Then work out the details.

Back in 2014.... JINGS!!!! SIX YEARS AGO???... there were five of us in the UK who were willing and able to travel at the same time, at a date just a few weeks away.
I already had a suitable venue (at my holiday flat on the Island) so I suggested going there and everyone agreed (it also reduced potential costs) but any resort/hotel/camp-site/B&B etc etc would do!!
Be Creative and you can make it happen!

My agenda today is get the shoe box cleaned, get the angora sheered, Angel is in her spring knot dress. And putz out side once it warms up.

I got my first tick, ARRRGH fortunately it is on my neck. I hate those critters. That is one bug I could live with out.

As for meeting up with people... I missed the New York one. Being disabled with pain, I would've only held people up. I don't have money to travel and to spend on bars and restaurants and stuff.

As for meeting up after the virus crap, I neither have the money nor a way to travel. I wouldn't be able to host people here either. I'm in a small apartment with a Husband who needs a lot of rest. And even if I had the money, I have to stay around to look after Mark. I would love more than anything to meet my precious Sheddites. Thank God, I can at least visit with you all here. I know it's not the same, but it's all I have for now.

I would encourage any of you that can, to do so. Gordi, I loved all the pics and posts of that awesome gathering you had. I remember being perplexed about who owned that cute lamb. LOL

Too bad it's so expensive to have the angora fur spun into yarn. I have seen demonstrations with antique spinning wheels. So cool!

Think I will have a rare 3rd cup of coffee, French vanilla this time.

Oh you asked how I was. Fine for now, but I'll need be needing groceries soon I think, and cat food. Still have toilet paper, but wondering if stores have any yet. I should be doing something productive, maybe later...or not. Ha!
