Awwww, Tell her Thank you! When Mark gets out of the hospital, I will be sure to show him and it will make him smile just as I am smiling right now. What a happy colorful picture! Love it so much!

Wow, I got so behind in here and missed some great posts. Feel like I've been gone forever.

Mark had a stroke in his eye, besides the blocked carotid arteries in the neck. I had to look that up to see if it was even a thing. Yep, it's a thing. I didn't know our eyes could have a stroke. I thought he was joking at first. Last I heard they were still giving him tests and Docs were consulting to see what to do. So as usual when one is in the hospital, things take time.

Good thing I picked up a few things at the groceries store earlier in the week. Linda and I were supposed to go out again today to get the rest of what we needed, but I stayed home to wait for Mark's call.

I was absolutely exhausted and just didn't feel up to writing anything, but I had to come in and give you all a big warm hug, because I am grateful to have such cool and wonderful friends and because I love you all.

Hello Night and everyone.

Night, so sorry to hear of you and Mark's struggles. Hopefully, due to quick thinking and response the eye stroke was caught quickly enough and will leave no permanent damage.

I've often wondered which of my senses I could live without (I've lost my common sense years ago!) and I think vision would be the worst, for me. Not seeing my children or my birds anymore would be a hellish sentence.

I hope all of our brothers and sisters in the world are staying safe and healthy and having their basic needs met. If we all confine to the SHED, we should be fine. Just popping in this beautiful Saturday morning and sending good wishes and positive thoughts!

air (((hugs)))

Thank you Dave!
he may be able to come home today, not sure yet. I am concerned though as they don't feel he is a candidate for operating on the blocked arteries yet. One is 80% blocked and the other 50%. They did something for his eye and gave him dialysis today and he needed some blood. How the hell are they screening blood with all these people who don't have symptoms yet, but have the virus? Gah!

I believe it it just Guinness as in "one sheep, two sheep" I could be wrong. Yes I said that.

And I am wrong, yes no fight no argument, I am wrong. i looked it up, sorry
....It is " Guinnesses" but that sounds plain stupid I won't use it....

That's just.... wrong! I AGREE!! Let's stick with the sheep! uhm... I mean the Sheep analogy!!

As for Gimli, are you OK? You didn't rant at me for comparing you to a dwarf, are you ill?
He lacks certain "attributes" though, but perhaps there was an evolutionary "jump". He is never with out a helmet, is he hiding something?

I'll be OK after a couple of sleepses!
The thing is... everyone looks like a dwarf to me..... ROFL!!!

Hello everyone.
I miss you all.
I know Tom will not be thrilled about me posting this song.
But I thought the words might help anyone who is going through a tough time.

Again, I love and miss you all.

Just bumping into a few people here to let you know that I'm still here and thinking of each of you and wishing the best for you.

Now where is Gordi's credit card?

I know Tom will not be thrilled about me posting this song.
Well let him fret.
I loved it, the lyrics were comforting and up lifting and the visual reminded me of endless days by the sea side.

I love and miss you all.

I love and miss you too, you gentle being.
WIS hugs

You mean this?

He leaves that thing floating around every where.
It's all on me (cough) Order what ever you would like.
I for one would just like some beans, onions a couple cans of diced tomatoes, black olives, some dog food and toilet paper

Perhaps a wee dram too.

Crap, I think I messed up on the algae-killing bleach dip. I didn't notice I bought concentrated bleach instead of regular. That means my 20-1 ratio dip was twice as strong as it should have been, the octo clusters aren't looking too good -- leaves are too pale and dropping/breaking off.

Luckily, this isn't as big an issue as it could have been -- I haven't emptied out the old tank yet, and the original clusters I took the cuttings from are still in there & growing. They're not as dense or vibrantly green as the ones under the new tank's light, especially now (working with shaded natural light from a window, the tank light for the old tank finally died) but if I take smaller cuttings, the new growth should take off like greased lightning over the next few weeks and look great as it grows and fills out.

Tomorrow, I guess I'll just give the original plants a good look and see what I can trim and use in the new one. And yep, I made sure to scribble myself a note on the jug about the proper ratio to use for the concentrated bleach, I'm not messing up twice, lol. Thank god I didn't dip the new expensive accidental purchase ones!!

In some distant magical realm there lived magical beings and creatures, in a world of love of joy and wonder. It was a colorful world filled with beauty, adventures and mysterious places. When chaos ruled, the people of the lands united to bring peace, hope and serenity back where it belonged. Nothing would break their spirit for they were warriors of all that is good and of precious value. Beautiful souls of love and compassion, humor and wisdom resided there.

They gathered in merriment with songs and danced with faeries. They rode dragons high above the blue ocean, raging rivers and gentle streams, wide open meadows with scattered wildflowers, tall mountains, noisy villages and deeply forested areas.
Gathered together by flickering candles or fireside telling stories of old was always a treasure. Sharing meals and clinking glasses brought warmth and contentment with wonderful friends and stimulating conversation.

This was the world of Acassia where you can find a very sacred and special place called The Shed.

It was soft and mushy -

The night before last I slept for a good 12 hours and I was trying for a repeat of that last night.

I toss and turn as usual, still no sleep. My best buddy cat was not by my pillow as usual either as doing so helps me to fall a sleep.

Finally I was at the point of almost dosing off and I reach down to pull the blanket up around my shoulders and it happens...

It was the soft and mushy thing that I found. I immediately turn on the light to take care of this as I knew that this was from one of the cats. Cats produce the soft and mushy from only two parts of their body. Fortunately this just happened to be the soft and mushy previous known as cat food.

This turned off any chances of sleeping until after sunrise but my sleep was to be for only a short time thanks to dad, the noise maker of the family listening way too loud to some church thing online.
