I'm a wrong? Does this letter carry any kind of legal weight? Does it have any power to change anything? Will any actions have to be taken because of what it says?

By looking at the content of this and the style of writing you would think it was some random cult 45 member on ATS that wrote it not the sitting POTUS

Sounds to me like Trump and Stephen Miller got together for a Sudafed tea party before they authored this not so lawyerly "I'm not the criminal, you're the criminal" rant.

I purposely did not put this in the mudpit as this is now a historical record of what the Democrats have done and are doing to the President, from his and many millions of other people's perspective.
If you actually do understand the Constitution and have done some study on what impeachment really means - e.g. Hamilton notes and Federalist papers then please do highlight where you think the President is wrong in his assessment.

This is a historical record of a half senile president that one day says he would gladly participate in the impeachment hearings and next day launches child-alike attacks and does everything in his power to stop the impeachment.

The letter makes it clear he's following events and interpreting them pretty accurately. I'd say his mind is pretty sharp and has nailed the message in terms of what his base thinks. Now, is it all true? Not all of it is factually correct, some of it is his opinion on motive, but the key lines of attack are in the main factually correct and supported by documentation.

Why just not for once admit he is lying? He is a lying s.o.b no matter how hard you tray to spin it and call it something different. It's not factually incorrect, it's called LIES.

You'll have to be more specific. What are you referring to exactly.
Which part of the letter is a lie?

Under oath - which specific statement would get him trouble?
I've seen a few anti-Trumpers in this thread now who've swung by to claim the President is just ranting, ironically with rants of their own.
Why not get specific if you have something you disagree with? Otherwise I fail to see why you even commented other than to just feed your own emotional state or hurl mud.

I think it's quite a sensitive time at the moment for some people in the UK who thought they could stop Brexit - they just lost so badly it's going to hurt for a while. They have to wake up to Boris as their PM every morning and every time they see him they realise their hopes of their 2nd referendum and overturning democracy to suit themselves are dead. I think that is why it's difficult for them to frame any actual argument at the moment, so I am putting the lashing out down to that.

I was hoping for at least some substance on the actual points and opinions raised in the letter from those US citizens that are FOR impeachment, but so far nothing.

The letter should have said “when this fails and it will the next investigation will be on American citizens who do business in Ukraine and their ties to the Democratic Party and any attempt to investigate my administration or I during this time will be considered obstruction of justice.”

And here we have yet another example of the tactics of the more... egregious of the Trumpsters. Ignore all the coverage, all the live testimony on TV, all the barrage of facts, call for a nice neat list (which they will instantly dismiss) of exact legalities.

But let us face facts. Those who truly support the Blessed Donald, for whatever reasons, will never be able to admit that their idol can do anything wrong. Who cares about the US Constitution and any possible crimes?
Which is, to me, ludicrous. Sharpiegate, which nominally harmless, said everything about the wretched man and his inability to admit that he can ever be wrong.

No, no you really didn't. You posted the letter, declared it to be game over for Pelosi, or near enough to that, and then you sat back and waited for the reactions.
You would dismiss any and in fact all points from a pro-impeachment standpoint anyway, so what's the point?

I think he has some points.... Specifically, and in my own words, the democrats know this will go nowhere, yet they're stonewalling the government when we have much more important things to do than use tax dollars for their 2020 sound bites.

But the part about his constitutional rights being infringed was too far for me.

One other point. Can we please start a campaign or petition or something to call to stop putting '-gate' at the end of the name of any kind of scandal? I think that perhaps we can all agree on this one point surely?

I found the letter lacking. Let me fix it.

This will be my last comment to you on the matter. In my possession is a written lawful order, written but that at this point remains unsigned: “As per order of the Commander In Chief, no military, federal, state or local law enforcement nor existing proclaimed militia is to interfere, harass, delay nor engage any of the American people that wish to handle the matter directly by forgoing their right to petition and instead enabling their Second Amendment rights and duties to preserve this free nation from the hands of tyranny.”

Take your vote and may matters evolve however the outcome may be. Just know that you stand alone in your decision and everything is within the hands of the We the People for for the final check and balance to a system out of control.
