This is a size 11-13 black wool sock and 2 pieces of duct tape.

It represents my angst. And my foot covering when I wear shoes.

Im wondering if youre against using gorilla tape? Do you have a problem with using a tape of color?

Why does your lighter tape have the upper position over the black sock? Holding down the black sock...is that what you look to symbolize here?

The artist is juxtaposing the racial tension with with art. In the Trump era, the the artist cleverly uses the silver duct tape to represent the jailing and oppression of people of color by using a black sock. In addition, the sock represents the broader society walking over the less fortunate. All this is then clearly back dropped by the cheap plywood which symbolizes the economic and wealth inequality of all people.

Some of you just don't understand modern art. The artists intentions are clear. This piece is clearly should be in the Guggenheim. He deserves to be a Nobel Laureate in art.

Juxtaposition of the OSB, duct tape and synthetic cotton is mind blowing.
