I'm poor white trash who can't get section 8 nor any benefits because I'm white and not black....

I'd say you are not being truthful. Benefits are there for those of us that fall through the cracks, colour of skin is irrelevant.

Venezuela is the most recent example. First they ate their family pets, then they broke into zoos an animal shelters, then they migrated to the country and raided farms.

One advantage for folks in the US is that they still have the right to bear arms, while the land owners in Venezuela literally had to just stand by and watch large crowds kill their livestock and destroy their crops.

That's more of an advantage than I think you give it credit for. Most city slickers are trained from early childhood now to fear guns. In contrast, country folk are taught to use guns as they are a necessity here. It's one thing for a group of hungry people to take over an area by force of numbers while their opponents are similarly armed; it is quite another to take over an area where the opponents have superior firepower. Three shots is all it will take to send a hoard of slickers running from the hills. One to get their attention, two to get them curious as to what that noise is, and one to let them realize someone has a gun.

When is the last time you watched a video of a shooting and didn't see people running for cover like their heads were on fire and their butts were catching? it's almost instinctive now.

Another advantage we have is the wildlife itself. Venezuela was a very wealthy, small country with little land undeveloped to some degree. Out here, you're literally looking at stretches of unspoiled wilderness separated by tracts of farmland. Wildlife abounds, and not all of it is friendly to humans. A rattlesnake can kill within minutes with one bite, especially if the one bitten panics. A coon, those critters that are depicted as cute and cuddly little bandits, can and has whipped three hound dogs simultaneously... it would have no problem ripping a clueless human to shreds. Even a deer, normally shy and retiring, will attack a human during rut or to defend young, and those antlers are long, sharp, and potentially lethal. Now add in bears, cougars, boars, even bobcats, coyotes, and foxes... the first three are extremely dangerous and the last three can be.

Country folk know what kind of wildlife exists in the area and how to avoid it. Slickers don't.

This would be a very different situation than Venezuela... not even close.

But the Population of US cities is far greater then Venezuela also, so the number of people looking for food will be much greater. You will need a F@#kton of ammo (which is equivalent to around 1000 S@#tloads)..

Many people reload. A single shot of ammo can be used to manufacture a dozen actual cartridges before the brass gives out. Wad cutter bullets can be molded easily... not hollow points, but still lethal. All one needs is powder and primer. Powder comes in 1-pound canisters, each of which can load an almost unlimited number of small-caliber cartridges, and primers are a dime-a-dozen... it wouldn't be even rare for a reloader to have thousands just lying around.

And don't forget the shotguns... one shot, ten down, the rest on a dead gallop to someplace else... which also probably has a shotgun.

Mankind did not originate in cities. We came from small close-knit wandering tribes. Cities are a recent development, and one that has actually hindered our ability to survive independently.

I have to admit that there is not a lot of skin-color-based discrimination on most government programs. While being darker skinned is an advantage in things like food stamps, being female is a much greater one. The real test of ability to get on government help is the ability to pay for it.

I was just approved for SS Disability. It took me over a year and a half and a lawyer to get approved, and I still have to wait for the benefits. I have a close friend who is probably more needy than I am; he has two bad knees, both of which need a replacement, and can't get the surgery done because of leg ulcers. He cannot walk without a cane; he'll fall. His problem with getting benefits is that he has managed to hold a job for so long, his seniority means he can stay on and do light-duty work. It still hurts him, but he struggles through. In order for him to get disability approval, he would have to stop work and do nothing for a year and a half or more... who can go that long without income?

So it's not skin color (I am white and so is he), but rather the ability to survive without anything long enough to get something.

Don't ever let small minded emotionally unstable socialists who are incapable of thinking for themselves bother you. And never remain silent in their presence when they speak ignorantly. Politely correct them and remind them that just because they are offended does not make them right.

And people in cities make good choices? The availability of these "Poor life choices" he rants about are more available in a city because of a larger population. The irony of him ranting about small towns while on a college campus is almost laughable. Most kids want to go to college in order to partake sex and drugs. His rant is like the brewery owner complaining about too many alcoholics.

We got a lot of bucks here, I put one in the freezer last week. He was a starbuck in my opinion, as the freezer was getting low.
