It's a working theory that Colonel Alexander Vindman leaked private/classified information from the Trump phonecall with Ukraine President Zelensky, in order to initiate a process that would lead to the Congressional impeachment inquiry that's now underway against President Donald Trump.

What's even more stunning is how this "patriot" would tell Ukraine leadership to ignore President Trump's policies!

The word “coup” shifted to a new level of formalized meaning last week, when members of the political resistance showed up to remove President Trump wearing military uniforms.

Not only did U.S. military leadership remain silent to the optics and purpose, but in the testimony of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman he admits to giving Ukraine instructions to ignore the instructions and requests from a sitting United States President!

In the absence of push-back from the Joint Chiefs, from this moment forth, the impression is tacit U.S. military support for the Vindman objective.

Beyond the debate about the optics of the “coup“, within the testimony of Lt. Col Vindman, the witness readily admits to understanding the officially established policy of the President of The United States (an agreement between President Trump and President Zelensky), and stunningly admits that two weeks later, he was giving countermanding instructions to his Ukrainian counterpart, to ignore President Trump’s policies!

The coup against President Donald Trump went from soft, to hard. Consider…

In Colonel Alexander Vindman, we have a self-proclaimed TRAITOR.

Even though the media is declaring him as the most powerful witness for Impeaching President Trump, Intel Committee chairman Adam Schiff is not asking Vindman to testify in the public impeachment inquiry hearings that begin in 2 days. I assume it's because Vindman has much to keep hidden!

Does anyone think Colonel Vindman will, at the very least, be dishonorably ejected from the military, for telling another nation to ignore his Commander-in-Chief? They ejected Hunter Biden for Cocaine. This Vindman crime is far, FAR worse!

Mass COLLUSION between Schiff-Pelosi-Vindman-Ciaramella's Attorney. Eric Ciaramella is bag-man (aka: fake Whistleblower).

As an international history buff, I imagine you're seeing the U.S. coup from a very imformed perspective.

Colonel VINDMAN's lawyer made an azz of himself in the deposition. Thought a Congresswoman was a secretary, lol. His behavior during Vindman's deposition indicated that he had coordinated with chairman Adam Schiff.

Wait. What?

Now someone who defies to follow illegal orders is called a traitor?

What is the current narrative of the Ukranian story right now? By the rightwings? Trump did everything okay?
Well, why am I asking this in this kind of thread anyway. Of course he is right. Even if he isn't.

Vindman is a cover story intended to leave you questioning just how schiff got the information. The fact they are not willing to push the whistleblower forward and his or her identity secret is making me believe in my first instinct.

www.politico.com...

Imagine if you will there is no real whistle blower just a complaint filed by some “never trumper” pawn. The left got the information directly from another foreign intelligence agency “Israel’s intelligence agency”! this is why they built the case the way they did around an accusation without the actual whistleblower needed because the whistleblower couldn’t be cross questioned without revealing being part of the plot and it would link it back to a source.

The story is unraveling on them but they are still in damage control mode- ie the media is pushing story’s to hide the actual source. The real source was that it was illegally obtained by a foreign government by spying on trumps communications.

Even if this exploded up on dems they probably have someone close to take the fall as the source to save the real source. This would be considered an act of aggression by a foreign government to overthrow an American president.

Even if you question me the timing of this article is extremely interesting

I'm beginning to think this is all pointing to something really bad
for the American people. All the vipers in D.C. openly showcasing
their criminality and determination to put this country back on
course for destruction.

I think it's because they know the american people aren't gonna
do anything to stop them. Trump is in a snake pit and if he goes
down we all go down. With all this coming to a head I have to
wonder. What kind snake do these criminals have the can?

I'm just seeing how from here things could go down hill really
fast. I just DK.

do you know the process for refusing to do an unlawful order? I do. And it's not the way Vindman did. You don't get to just do things how you want instead. There is a thing called a chain of command. Look into that.

Bingo. At the very least, Vindman was extraordinarily insubordinate. And at his rank, that is not tolerated.

Cheers

I think I’ll take the word of a decorated Armed Services member who has been wounded in the service of our country over the cowardly whimpering of a blogger.

Times - Vindman Transcript

What anyone can discover who actually reads Lt. Col. VIndman’s testimony is:

1. He directly listened to the phone call between President Trump and President Zelensky.

2. He followed chain-of-command with his assigned superiors at the National Security Council.

3. He gave no countermanding orders to any Ukrainian counterpart.

The OP and the OP’s source are entirely dishonest in terms of the facts of the matter.

Did he leak the call to the extremely partisan whistleblower blower?

Did the whistleblower meet with the extremely partisan Adam Schiff before officially becoming the whistleblower?

I'm going to save the praise for Vindman until we get the facts.

The fact CNN and NBC are calling him a "true patriot" is enough to make me question it....

Lolz

It is my understanding that the Whistleblower became aware of the details of the calls in the relation of their official duties.

Page 159 of the transcript

Vindman has admitted he was troubled by the political implications of trump asking the Ukraine to investigate US citizens for corruption

He admits that after trumps phone call, he talked with his counterpart in the Ukraine who wanted to know what to do about the call, and Vindman counseled him to stay out of US politics

This is clearly Vindman saying don’t investigate Biden as trump asked

So the op is correct

Some other facts about Vindman.

1. He admits the transcript is basically accurate, only making a minor quibble that zelensky said "Burisma" instead of "the company. He admits this was not changed maliciously by the transcribers.

This blows the entire democrat argument of "We cant read the transcript because its not accurate" out of the water.

If the transcript is accurate, as Vindman, a witness against trump who actually heard the call says, then we dont need to rely on his or anyone elses opinions of it, we can read it for ourselves, and it shows no quid pro quo.

2. Vindman admits he doesnt have any legal knowledge to say trump brole some sort of law. he just felt trumps request was bad.

3. Vindman admits his problem with the request was that it may disrupt policy he and others in NatSec approved of. This should never factor into his descion, the president makes policy, not he and other unelected officals.

4. Vindman admits Trump never actually made a demand with his words on the phone call; its just that Vindman had a gut feeling trump was implying it was a demand.

Ad there is more that i dont really feel like getting into about Vindman and his attorneys contempt for republicans questioning him and lack of basic knowledge of policy toward the Ukraine though he claims to be an expert, but I would like to focus on the above

I hadn't heard that side of the story and have just been waiting for the facts to come out before digging into this topic, but you grabbed my attention. Here is some more detailed information that Grambler was discussing for anyone that is interested.

Plenty more info at the source too.

Indeed, Vindman attested to the overall accuracy of the rough transcript, contrary to some impeachment supporters who have suggested the White House is hiding an exact transcript that would reveal everything Trump said to the Ukrainian president. As one of a half-dozen White House note-takers listening to the call, Vindman testified that he tried unsuccessfully to make a few edits to the rough transcript as it was being prepared. In particular, Vindman believed that Zelensky specifically said the word "Burisma," the corrupt Ukrainian energy company that hired Hunter Biden, when the rough transcript referred only to "the company." But beyond that, Vindman had no problems with the transcript, and he specifically said he did not believe any changes were made with ill intent.

"You don't think there was any malicious intent to specifically not add those edits?" asked Republican counsel Steve Castor.

"I don't think so."

"So otherwise, this record is complete and I think you used the term 'very accurate'?"

"Yes," said Vindman.

Once Vindman had vouched for the rough transcript, his testimony mostly concerned his own interpretation of Trump's words. And that interpretation, as Vindman discovered during questioning, was itself open to interpretation.

Vindman only counselled his counterparts to "stay out of American politics" BEFORE Trump made it policy to ask Ukraine to investigate Biden.

Before that (when Lt. Col. Vindman made these comments) the matter was a plot hatched by Rudy Guiliani that the NSC felt was not contributive to American national interests in Ukraine.

The OP is dishonest.

Thanks, I had read that article but was rushed today and couldnt find the link to post.

I read thorugh much of the transcript as well.

Basically vindman acknowledges the transcript is accurate

He then gives his opinion, which he admits is open for interpretation, on what he feels trump meant in his call with Zelensky.

I dont care if a thousand people testify their feelings are the call was bad; we can read the transcript ourselves.

There was no quid pro quo, unlike with Biden who admitted it and the dems and media were totally fine with it.
